Anyone encountered any problems paying through UNIFI customer portal? For the past few months, I have been paying through the site without any problems.

However, for this month, I went through the usual process and I received a message claiming that my payment is currently being processed and TM will call back for verification. However, I have yet to receive any calls. I also checked my credit card info and found out that nothing is being deducted, which means the payment has yet been made.

When I returned to the UNIFI customer portal, it says that there is an "unsuccessful payment attempt" and I am only able to make another payment after a week, but the deadline for this month's payment is today. sad.gif

hi guys, i have a question to ask.

my modem, router are all downstairs and my STB is upstairs. I bought 2 homeplug, 1 is normal 1 for downstairs just to send out signal and upstairs i use with 2 Ethernet port homeplug http://www.aztech.com/prod_homeplug_hl110ew.html

since the Aztech HL110EW got 2 port, i plan to connect 1 to my STB and 1 to my PS3 via ethernet cable, but what i dont know before i bought the homeplug is STB only can use on port 4, and port 4 dun have internet connection.. so if i want to play ps3, i need to go downstairs and connect from port 4 > port 3... and if i want to use the STB i need to connect to port 4 again

any solutions for this? i would like to play ps3 while using the Unifi STB at the same time...thanks guys smile.gif

I encounter the same situation as you. The best workaround is to get another pair of homeplugs for internet or get another router to work as a repeater and connect to your ps3.

getting another homeplug is quite hi cost bro.. lol.. the Aztech HL110EW is already a wireless Extender/repeater i think so maybe i connect to it to have better signal.. actually i buy this cos got 2 port, so thought use cable would be more stable heh

Yeah it is costly. However a pair homeplugs cannot support two different ports, I was caught too. Not too sure how the wireless repeater works. Maybe you can repeat your existing wireless.

Port 4 actually has internet but it is a different line which is only dedicated for IPTV. Can't have both internet and IPTV on same port sadly.

Hey guys, I'll be getting my VIP 5 tomorrow. I've been reading horror stories about TMnet's stock routers, so I wanna ask ; can I just pick any of KLseet's recommended routers? Planning to buy W8960N since no customization is required. Or are there better routers? smile.gif

most user says stock router dir615 are cheap & crap. earlier usage ok la but then after a period of time, speed become less, wifi signal not strong, easily kong etc. tm ppl can replace faulty dir615 but still happen as they replace the exact same model. that's why ppl like klseet & rizvan do r n d and give us alternative to buy router other than stock model that can be used for unifi customer, which is better than stock

even im afraid that when they come to install unifi at my house this saturday, i have to prepare some $$$ to buy a backup alternatif router

correct me if im wrong
