Dear sifus,  did anyone face issue with:
BTU -> Homeplug -> Homeplug -> DIR615 -> STB

My neighbors tried but it failed... he had to change it to below to work:
BTU -> DIR 615 -> Homeplug -> Homeplug -> STB
*
My guess would be the vlan thing. Need expert to clarify. Just my guess.

I used that setup and it works for me. like the guy above said, probably has something to do with the vlan thing.
IPTV doesnt work without going through the DIR615 first.

after online 19days with new router (TP-LINK WR841N) without problem, got to turn off the router today coz of changing some electric system..
nice router with reasonable price.. eventho 19days online, no issue happened.. everything smooth.. just dreaming to buy Mikrotik router but ending fall in love with TP-LINK coz my previous streamyx modem+router also TP-LINK..
when i bought it, i didn't flash to klseet firmware coz already Unifi compatible and the firmware inside it newer than klseet firmware.. using it without problem.. IPtv at LAN port 1..

I am currently using Streamyx Blockbuster package 1Mbps.

I am interested to switch to Unify but I am told that I cannot keep my existing number and will be given a new number.

That is difficult for me because many of my old relatives only know my existing fixed line number. Besides that I also make alot of calls on my existing telephone number.

Will it be possible for me to get Unify but the free fixed line calls and 10sen calls to mobile line rate is maintained on my existing telephone number?

The UniFi VOIP line can't be the same number. Only option is to terminate Streamyx only and keep the telephone line with your existing number and continue paying rental for that. Not much though. That's what I did for my house. So end up with 2 tel numbers.

You can keep your existing fixed line phone, and even Streamyx if you wish.

BUT, if you stay in a condo/apartment where there is only ONE copper pair wire into your unit, then you must terminate both Streamyx & fixed line phone as your UniFi is provisioned via the copper wire.

My set up is same as you except using trailing socket (not direct to wall socket) at both ends.

BTU -> DIR 615 -> Homeplug -> trailing socket -> trailing socket -> Homeplug -> STB
thankyou

It looks like Unifi throttling the upload speed to international. My upload never exceed 110KB/s at all the time... No problem with download speed though...
