Hardwood is a highly compact structure and will easily absorb moisture, and yes, they will not bend easily if they are thick. but thickness of 10cm below, they will bend easily if expose to humid condition.

What worry me the most is the wood thickness, because i never work with 1cm below thickness. so i'm quite worry the wood will bend.
