anyone got websites hosted by smartteam.net.my? 1 advise please do not host with them ..their service is poor, my website have been down for 15 hours & yet it's down sometimes. I thought at first their service is damn good but now i'm very disappointed. I called their customer service but can't even call in!

I was about to drop the money to get my hosting done on Mesra hosting, so before I did, I wanted to talk to a sales rep so I could understand more about how good their support was.

Reading their website, the information was not enough. All that they put there, could possibly be advertising that was biased. It always does make me feel better to speak to a sales rep, knowing that at least I'm not doing business with just a computer.

I clicked the online chat, and connected to the sales rep.

This is the chat log that I got, I had a very bad time just trying to chat with the sales rep. He also has problems understanding English, he can't distinguish between Digit and Digital.

So, any other web hosts that anyone here can recommend?

I'm just disappointed that they claim they are reliable, yet he told me not to expect too much for RM100.

Mesra customer support like cannot make it, very frustrated.

This is disturbing and totally unprofessional.

It was just a few simple questions and besides not answering them, he/she turned back and said stuffs that is totally disrespectful.

I'm just very disappointed at the 'service' that he provided.

Its lucky I found it out before I made a payment.

DataKL.com just started the business last year. still need sometime to prove that its a good hosting...

My common advice is if you want good..dun think cheap but think average price with great service and uptime.

cttsite so far so good. KK2iT.COM is their reseller or using cttsite server. i just tracking cttsite for 20 days

Sorry for the interruption. For your information, host-tracker.com is not reliable. As a web hosting provider, I have used many monitoring services and I can conclude that you won't go wrong with Alertra, Websitepulse & Hyperspin.

As for the rest, most of the time they report outages when your site is up and running

this might becoz the monitoring services if try to accessing from other country and the country link is broken so it might give false alarm to malaysia users.

Yes, this is true. The 3 services that I recommended, they monitor your server from multiple locations, which is more reliable.

We used to use 2 minutes monitoring until we compared the results with Hyperspin and we are now replacing our uptime report with Hyperspin. As our number of monitored servers grow, monitoring with Alertra is really costing us a bomb
