VERY interesting conversation. At least there was somebody on the end of the so-called 24-hours-customer-support-online. Unlike most other Malaysian web hosting which claim to have online chat but never been online.

What offer that doesn't costs a penny? 

I was about to drop the money to get my hosting done on Mesra hosting, so before I did, I wanted to talk to a sales rep so I could understand more about how good their support was.

Reading their website, the information was not enough. All that they put there, could possibly be advertising that was biased. It always does make me feel better to speak to a sales rep, knowing that at least I'm not doing business with just a computer.

I clicked the online chat, and connected to the sales rep.

This is the chat log that I got, I had a very bad time just trying to chat with the sales rep. He also has problems understanding English, he can't distinguish between Digit and Digital.

So, any other web hosts that anyone here can recommend?

I'm just disappointed that they claim they are reliable, yet he told me not to expect too much for RM100.

Mesra customer support like cannot make it, very frustrated.

I want webhosting because the current one is s*ckz.. always SERVER DOWN / DATABASE ERROR.. I've registered domain with them and now I need a transfer.. Below RM60 is it possible to get?

For your information, there's even a webhost giving RM2 per month(but they're out of business now), but if you're prepared to pay that amount or any amount whatsoever, be prepared to expect the same service given according to how much you pay. So, if you're looking for one below RM60, you'll definitely be able to get it... 

I would like to recommend my web hosting provider, A new hosting company. Their service is quite good. So far my website never been down before. Its really Reliable, Afforable... RM55 1gb space.    Its good for freelancer like me...

My pixcle.com hosting went down again today. For 2 hours. Already emailed them but I reckon will receive similar response like "the downtime was beyond our control due to <insert reasons or excuses here of Singapore data centre faulty card bla bla>".

Anyway, I've already had 2-3 new web hosting to choose to migrate this July. Been monitoring them for a few months before I can be sure.
Also saw similar downtime stat from siteuptime.com
