i test driven the focus tdci twice. Once hatch and once sedan. The g-force is addictive. Fun to drive. Look for kenny siew from ford fed highway pj. He offer me rm 15k discount for a 2010 silver sedan.

But i also tried the 320d. And it is more rewarding to drive and higher g-force. Also, its a RWd. A pre reg 2011 model with i drive, gps and dvd player costs rm 225k only. Just head to auto bavaria bmw premium selection in glenmarie.

Auto Bavaria service sucks >.<

If you're considering BMW, better opt for Ingress or Quill.

Just a simple remap will bring it to 320d performance, but i am more concerned about the gearbox durability as i plan to use this car for at least 7 years

deleted. Sorry, symbian os problem. Phone left idle few hours. When i pick up and click refresh, they duplicate my posting.

as for the focus tdci remap, dylan of dktuning can do it for you for below rm 3k. heard from other forum0-100km/h bumps to 8 secs and top speed 225km/h. Max power 184hp, and torque 380nm. Deja vu? Identical to 320d.

225k is premium selection (used) and it's not pre-reg (new)..

but i read somewhere biodiesel is more clean but no power and worse FC compared to normal diesel...worse still it will cause more slugs built up in the engine and breaks down rubber components faster

Biodiesel is more "clean" in eco terms. They have poorer cleaning power, poorer lubricity properties, give less power hence higher FC. The poor cleaning power cause your engine, injectors and fuel pump to wear out faster.. I see no point going for B5 since they have the same price, unless you are serious on going green lah..

You guys can try the B5 and report back if you don't believe what i've said earlier. Try doing it the same driving style and you'll notice performance & FC difference. biggrin.gif
