Fuel consumption... Are you comparing a diesel to a gasoline powered? No doubt the TDCi will churn out more mileage compare to any gasoline powered out there in the same cc range. Good daily driving torque with excellent fuel consumption. Even driven in a sprinted style will still churn out better FC than a gasoline engine.
4. will it be good for daily city driving and as family car?
Of course. Diesel engine are perfect for daily driving = good FC. With that amount of torque, you wont be fetching all of your family members in a car that struggle to move.

Want better driving experience? Get a 320d. Recently TT with a bunch of diesel head from BMWCM, i was amazed by the power in stock terms.
