1 lb a week. That's not even half a kilo a week . When I meant getting bigger , I meant my frame gets bigger, but with so much fat, I look more like a fat kid more than anything.

Lol, at least you realize it. But that's the important step to losing weight. Realization and self acceptance. A lot of youngsters take bulking too far and deny that they have high levels of bodyfat. The common reply I get when i poke them, they say I'm not fat. I'm just big or i have big bones. Fat is fat. Heh.

won't say i'm expert in dieting, but i kinda follow this diet in my initial stage of cutting and it worked.

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=131035713

i followed most of the diet part and have 2 days of cheat meals. but the initial stage amount of carb is insanely low, but gradually increases as the time goes.
might not work for everyone. but worth trying at least.

I'm going to split the cardio to 2 sessions and cut down my carbs to quarter of a cup and 160g of protein each meal on training days and quarter of a cup and 160g of protein each meal on non training days.

If in 2 weeks nothing much happens, I will go from there again.

160g of protein per meal...6-7 meals a day, are you sure?
That's some people's daily intake in a meal.

160g of lean protein doesn't mean you absorb 160g of protein.

if really 160 g per meal for 6 meal is way too much IMO...seriously
count like 5 meal you have 800 gram protein if you cant even absorb that more why bother to intake that more?

How much lean protein u guys eat each meal? 20 to 50g? That's not even the size Of an adult's palm. And 165lbs bw x 1.5g at the very least is definitely more than 180g the whole day.

I eat 1xBW in grams per day.

To be honest, this is the first time I'm seeing 5x BW protein consumption. I think you may be overestimating your protein content.

160 grams of protein in meat isn't a small chunk of meat. Which is why I think you may be overestimating protein content in food.
