QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Nov 17 2011, 03:58 AM) i think, biceps are one of my major weakness though. these are my routines for biceps though, is it enough? i use 10 kg dumbbell, and with ez bar, i can go for like 15 kg. need ur guys punya advice a lil bit. oh ya, i train my biceps along with my back. Such high volume. Tsk. My arm workout takes less than half hour and I already have striation on both heads of my triceps, mikehuan bears witness when he trained with me. point is, focusing on biceps too much when some people can't even pull up bodyweight more than 10 times is moot. not all of us are genetically given. too high volume is overkill.alternate biceps curls : 8-10 reps with 4 sets ez bar curl : 8-10 reps with 3 sets pull ups : 5-7 reps with 3 sets do i suppose to use much heavier dumbbell and ez bar or probably just use the weight that i can lift easily and do reps for like 12-15 times? sometimes i confuse juga coz whenever i train my chest, just use heavier weights, then can rasa my chest kembang2 skit, but not with my biceps. |

I'm not saying leave direct arm work alone. Nor am I saying focus on exclusively the big 3. I'm not a firm believer in the big 3 is all you need to build big arms. But excessive volume is overkill. More doesn't mean better. |

I don't know bout pre-WO supps. They are iffy for me, and highly dependent on individual.
Pre-WO that works for me everytime is a protein shake half an hour before. |

QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Nov 18 2011, 12:36 AM) oh i see. coz bfore this, i usually just stop at one hour mark although i can go for another 15-20 mins maybe. tomorrow will try add half an hour more. hehe brah, when weight lifting, u dont actually "time" yourself to say "1 hour" workout like tat... choose the exercise, sets, reps tat u can perform around tat period of time... but u dont actually go and " geez, i stll have 3 sets 20 reps to go, but the clock say's 1 hour already, so i just drop the weight here" kinda things...QUOTE(darklight79 @ Nov 18 2011, 12:36 AM) i know brah.... i know... |
