Don't train till failure and no negative reps.just wanna ask bout strength. On a chest day, i dun hv any must start exercise. I usually rotate incline, decline or normal bench. The question is, the 1st exercise(incline) i can go heavy for 2-3 set but when come to 2nd exercise(bench), i cant lift as heavy as incline anymore. Do you guys hv the constant strength? Added on December 8, 2011, 11:57 pm QUOTE(ChinHong86 @ Oct 24 2011, 10:51 PM) i tried using the hammer strength for incline press Tsk. QUOTE(Kmaru @ Dec 9 2011, 06:45 AM) Now.. Let me clarify the information above and don't get confuse. Firstly to much of anything is harmful e.g ; Plus it's also harmful if one already has a preexisting kidney disease. So back in Aussie bro?- to much vitamin A,D,E,K also can be harmful and toxic towards the body - to much carbs will spike the insulin level and store them as fat Remember, they mention only strength trainer, a marathon runner, or just an average exerciser, a balanced diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, fish, and complex carbohydrates is what nutritionists recommend. darklight79 may say its crap because he is categorize as a Bodybuilder that train with high intensity regularly. If you train less or don't even lift weight for several weeks than YES!! high amount of protein may stress your liver and kidney. Before you decide to follow a certain diet ask yourself, is the training load and your lifestyle is in par as the recommended nutrition? If it is - SLOWLY engage yourself with that new diet instead of drastically change everything. Cheers |

QUOTE(Kmaru @ Dec 10 2011, 01:01 AM) Currently in London.. Working for Steiner before heading to be a PT in L.A. Lol, I'm trying to hit 6% bf. Now at 8 plus. Slow and steady. I only saw you once. What a waste. We can't train together cos timing is different.Nothing much happening here. London is far compared to Oz for their passion towards fitness. Anyhow will be back to Msia this weekend for a short break, might drop by to TF if possible to train.. I gain so much weight sign How about you ? all you guys/girls of LYN members ? |

QUOTE(Aztec @ Dec 10 2011, 05:52 PM) kmaru: i think ur friends with my cousin..saw him at ur farewell gathering on fb a while back I told you, I've found the sweet spot for what works for me. If i try eating exclusively chicken breasts and brow rice, I get fat. Don't ask me how that works i don't get it either. Cheeseburgers and fries hit it for me. question for darklight how is it possible that ur eating choco, ice cream etc. I thought its a big No No to indulge in desserts and the like. Like for myself i rarely eat desserts. As for chocs and ice cream, that's how i carb load postworkout, something which isn't recommended but it just works for me. And it's not just a scoop of ice cream, think a whole tub or several bars of chocs and cookies. Lol. This post has been edited by darklight79: Dec 10 2011, 06:01 PM |

How many of you guys eat instant noodles as part of your post workout meals? It's starchy, high GI and easy to count macros cos all labels are there.

QUOTE(MelForC3 @ Dec 12 2011, 09:41 AM) Bro, why no negative reps? just wonder? Negatives cut into recovery. Why do you think I almost always can add more weight or more reps to my lifts every session without needing periodization? Cos I train alone and if I have a partner they're just there to catch me if I fail.sometimes, i go really slow when lowering down the bar.. mind to explain? failure is not an option also? |

I use exclusively machines and weighted bodyweight movements.I always dun go heavy if im alone bcz there's once i fail for last rep and ask for help lol... |

QUOTE(VeeJay @ Dec 14 2011, 11:45 AM) ultimately, I think this is what we need to thrive for! I think you need to realize that as your bw decreases, you need to adjust calories accordingly too. And trainees make the mistake of overloading protein way too much. For eg. minimum 1g/lb of bodyweight. I do this sometimes if i find that my caloric intake for the day is way too much. Good masculine body, good strength and could eat what ever we want! OK as for diet cycle, I started with my weight training (as I posted previously), in July for 2 months...high protein and high fat, low carb; with shit load of cardio in the morning (1 hr) and weights in the evening. WIthin the months manage to reduce body fat from 22 to around 13%. my daily. calorie intake is around 3000-3500 After that, eat whatever I want, just being cautious on transfat, sugar and salt, and ensure enough protein in each meal. Number of meal is pretty much unlimited, i basically listen to my body, 3 to 4 days in a week, would wake up like 2am or 4am to eat full meal. two months plus later my body fat is still the same....everyone has different internal absorption and process, as you train longer with experience (4-5 yrs) you can easily detect your body need and go with that flow... (tweak, diet and exercise to maintain, or to increase or to reduce) RIght now, I have restarted the cycle, with high carbo and high protein and moderate fat. I'm just doing this to experiment and at the same time, to jerk the system, lets see, if it increases my body fat. It doesn't hurt to take more protein but not when it comes to the point it become a caloric surplus. Protein can still make one fat if overdone. Oh! And on a side note, I met Mr Azlisham? I dunno the spelling but former Mr Johor. He's working for someone in my condo. He said i looked amazing. This post has been edited by darklight79: Dec 14 2011, 02:29 PM |

I'm still pro natural. If i can get a praise like that from him without any juicing, it's already motivational for me. |
