Yup, convert auto to manual... If always speed or sudden accelarate better change to manual la coz doing it with auto will spoil the gb easily... I like sudden accelarate so I convert it... And wish to see how my car perform on dyno too...

Oh..how much for the total conversion? your wira is 1.5 or 1.6?

i had one before. cool or not is another thing, the main purpose is to monitor the health of your engine. (you can google on that) 2nd thing is, it will tell you how to become 'fuel efficient'... (google that also) hahaha.. but becareful not to keep looking at it, because it will takes your eye off the road.. and you know la, when you're not looking at the road..

vacuum gauge? Haha my mom's 1979 Daihatsu Charade has it!

guys, whats the different between the wira standard exhaust and the twin exhaust ? because i notice some wira is using twin stock exhaust, while my is only the single stock one... so in terms of appearance, is there any different on performance and FC is i change to the twin type ?

btw i saw there are also 2 type of gauge right? one type is those in the engine bay without electric supply, one is the one i plan to install on my dashboard...

Meter panel use back mine, coz next time if want convert back no need susah susah cari ma... Then gear console(the cover) also not included... That 1 can easily buy la... Other all in... Gear lever, pedal, knob... And yeah, this is the cheapest 1 I get with the maximum warranty (6month include labour)...

it's connected with a T-JOINT connector to your intake manifold there. choose the type with electrical sensor, there would be tubing connecting from outside into the electrical sensor (which you should place it inside), also remember that before going into the sensor, u must have an inline filter... normally it comes with the gauges, but the first one i had, it wasnt in the box.. and i terus install... and later on the sensor faulty... due to contamination kua.. accesorries shop can do it for you, noneed susah susah.

cheap meh? standard lo.. i got an offer for 4g15 auto convert to manual pau everything including labor pedal etc etc etc 1.5k gao dim..

U should know 4g15 and 4g91 different right?

wana ask all sifu here..
my wira every morning when cold start, changing from 2nd gear to 3rd will take a long time..the car will be like without any gear for few seconds..and the RPM will go high since the car is in free gear.
i went to the shop and flush the gear box for once last year for the same problem. and the problem solved.
but now it return back again.
now the mechanic told me need to change gear box and all in will cost me rm1.8k. he said the gear box is used and import from japan.
is there any other solution other than changing a gear box?
my car is 1997 auto 1.5GL.

I thought both are almost the same 1.5L just that 4g91 is DOHC.. rite? And if not mistaken we can choose what gb we wanna use.. but 1.5L can use 1.6 or 1.8 gb however 1.8 cannot use 1.5 or 1.6 due to wat reason i forgotten.. correct me if i'm wrong as i'm not really sure oso lol

I not 100% confirm la, coz I got ask from few gb guy... 91 and 15 gb different but can modify... Driveshaft different, clutch plate different, flywheel different, (then got few say starter different and some say same)... Yup, all 1.5, 1.6, and 1.8 can use gb for each other but few of those above things need to be changed... Just sharing, sorry if I'm wrong...

go service the body valve.... if u dunno who can service i know there is 1 at sentosa old klang road does and i remember below 300 including gasket everything IF NOT MISTAKEN....

Added on July 8, 2012, 4:33 amall can mod vice versa... i did mod my iswara 4G15 to 4G91 auto GB then mod back manual then sell then get 4G93 then mod here n there.... the only different part is drive shaft length...

1) Change the eksos, (converter, middle part, muffler and piping) - RM 320
2) Change the timing belt - RM 250++
