Carburetor or EFI engine ?
hmm.gif

Mine EFI, no such issue for 9 years.
I presume yours is carb ? Coz my previous Saga carb, also like that in the morning. My feet need to balance at 1-1.2k RPM for 1-2 minutes.

I can't recall, as that Saga (Magma engine  cool2.gif  ) was >10 years ago. IIRC, ask the mechanic to tweak the carb. But may drink more petrol though...
Once engine warm up, should not have such issue when restart, right ?
*
ya, once its warmed up then no problem ady. So if i pump petrol like this for 1-2mins it will eat alot of petrol in long term ? hmm.gif

Won't eat a lot lah. Try balance as low as possible in 900-1200 RPM.

But what I normally do is, start engine, in 10 sec, put in gear and drive slow <60km/h inside garden road at 2nd-3rd gear, before join the main road.
Not stress the engine or gearbox.
No need standstill warmup.

Then drive slow without rev >3.5k RPM for the next 10-15 minutes. Normally already upshift at 2.5k to keep RPM low.

So far, no major issue previously with the old Saga or Wira. Piston ring all fine. No makan minyak. Only gasket leaking oil due to wear and tear.

i see, and i also planning to install strut bar and air filter intake to my wira. Any advice from you guys ? Thanks ! tongue.gif
My wira so far juz mod alot at visual, performance is still N/A.

your fuel consumption is normal. As for your starting issue, that will the problem with your starter motor. Probably you will need to send to mechanic for checking on it.
*
Starter motor means the place which we slot in our car key ?
If i was planning to change plug and plug cables, what brand is recommended ? the main purpose i wana change them is because this is a 2nd hand car, and engine is stock. juz modified body kits and visual things on my hand, so i wish change plugs and cables can get better respon when starting my wira. smile.gif

Hi all, got a question about my wira radiator.
i noticed that many ppl said radiator coolant can prevent our radiator from rusting right ?

but i think few months back, i replace my old radiator with a new one at my uncle's workshop. my uncle is my mechanic all the time, the radiator he helped me installed is a new one but i see sticker beside the cap stated "no coolant". my uncle also advise me not to apply coolant into my radiator.

So im kinda confused then... today juz opened my radiator cap to check water level and noticed its already rust sad.gif
so what should i do now ? continue do not apply coolant ? i dont wan those rust inside my radiator, it will cause my water become very dirty & looks unhealthy to my wira sad.gif

PLS HELP !

Guys,
I've a situation here, which is at each morning or a cold start of my engine, i need to Rev lightly in order for my RPM to reach 800-1k... but once my foot is away then the RPM drop fast till below 500 and the engine is death.

If i dint Rev it and just start and leave it idle, within few sec the engine death also... So after consult some friend, issit the "Lambda sensor" kaput dy ?

Nope, it is not the way it should be... Yes, old car are like that... That is the sign that something is faulty with your ride due to aging... Therefore we need a mech for repairing... If ppl say "aiya" old car is like that, no need repair la... Then u should ask him back "if an old ppl fell sick, should we just buat tak tau"?! As old ppl are like that also, their immune getting weaker hence easier to felt sick...!! No offence ya, just example... tongue.gif
*
Haha... nice man ! i liked your words.
Okay, now i make sure it is not the way my engine should be... will get mech to check up when service.
Normally how much will it cost for this ? Hope there's not a big hole on my wallet. blink.gif
