The original N8 comes with a screen protector which I have not bother to take it off because it doesn't seem to impact the screen color/sharpness etc.

But I was wondering, does it degrade the responsiveness and accuracy of finger input?

So you mean, with or without the original piece of clear protector film on screen, there is no difference in screen responsiveness etc?

News of Nokia releasing Belle next week is gathering momentum. Apparently they found a big bug that prevented the promised Belle Q4 2011 roll out. Now the bug is fixed it seems.

The other good news is (allegedly) Nokia gng to release Belle to all at the same time, bypassing telcos. So IF this is true we should get it rather quick. But looking at their past records it's always a big if with Nokia.

I'll believe this when I see it.

It does not make any logical sense on why image quality will be lowered. rclxub.gif

Nokia announce official release of Anna on N8 in August 2011. And I got my telco contract N8 updated to Anna at that exact same month. So I would say that is very very fast instead especially considering it's an Telco set.

Oh false alarm. No idea what it was all about. I connected my phone and Nokia Suite told me there was a software update available, with the usual string of digits, then "Belle" at the end, not "Anna".

When it was all done, everything looked more or less the same lah!
