I can't accept the road noise when my 7 yr old Accent does it better.. sad.gif i've tested on the road i normally use hence it will be an issue. Well people can say is just an excuse but it is 1 of my criteria when looking for a car. Noise level, comfort, stability.

I've ruled out Civic & M3 already. So far still in the list is Altis & Slphy..

Btw i'm not here to flame or anything, in fact i still love Mazda as a whole. if i were to change car again i'll still try Mazda

Yes. Agree. Toyota and Nissan got one of the most comfortable ride. I just went to check out the slyphy... But totally disappointed with the interior design. Totally out of era, felt like I went in a time machine and came out 30 years later. one thing though, super large cabin with alot of leg room.

Anyway, if comfort is your main criteria then go for Altis. I agree mazda 3 ride is kinda firm and bumpy.

Thailand ll be the 1st country to aseemble skyactiv technolpgy in SEA.
Since the technology is eco-friendly, Mazda ll enjoy lower tax structure.
Meaning to say, Thai' ppl ll enjoy lower price for M2, M3 & CX5 due to tax and also...... they export to Malaysia
How lucky they are.....
I wonder, since there are so many forces & pressure for Malaysian to purchased P1, and yet we are NOT proud to the country ability to build they own national car

Mazda is ready to introduce the first SkyActiv model in the Thai market next year as it hopes for tax benefits to support its local production of cars installed with the new technology

He recently met with Deputy Prime Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong in Bangkok to discuss tax privileges in support of SkyActiv vehicle production in Thailand.

SkyActiv is Mazda's technology that improves fuel efficiency by 30% compared with 2008's Mazda conventional level as well as lower carbon emission to meet Thailand's new auto tax requirement.
Mr Yamanouchi said in Japan, the government provides the same tax benefit to the CX-5 as for hybrid and electric vehicles.

If no tax privileges are provided, then Mazda will still move ahead with its plan to produce SkyActiv vehicles in Thailand.

"We must quickly introduce SkyActiv models for the Thai market, as government officials show their interest in our new technology," he said.

It is still unknown which country in Asean is allowed to host the production of SkyActiv CX-5, but Thailand is the first choice for the initial production of the SkyActiv model.

In Asean, Mazda has only a car assembly plant in Thailand with a joint venture with Ford Motor.

Added on July 16, 2012, 3:27 pmHonda launched their new 9th generation Civic less than a year but so many bad issues are taking place in US.
This is due to cut cost as a main issues.
Civic 9th generation now reached Malaysia & increase price some more, even though this is a cut cost model.

Should Malaysian buy Civic?
If Bermaz installed skyactiv technology & lower down the price (green technlogy & low tax)
I think H & T ll TA-PAO already but Y Bermaz is so pasive?

1) Actually I am thinking to get current M3 with discount
but
ii) New facelift look so sexy to me
and I plan to get 1 new facelif
again......
iii) I read the news about M3 skyactiv ll be installed in Thailand soon, once their get approval for low tax for green color
If Bermaz still install current tradisional engine & Thailand with skyactiv, I think this ll slow down their sale momentum due to everyone believe, skyactiv ll come to Msia

Bermaz can
i) import skyactiv spec (higher price) from Thailand to fulfill difference segment
ii) installed skyactive in M3 soon, aft Thailand
else, everyone admire & wait for skyactiv & decrease M3 demand

I can feel skyactiv around the corner
Current model still in high stocks & this stuck new launching of M3
even though they launch new facelift & I believe most of the customers ll wait as now everyone aware of this technology

What say u?
should wait right?

0.216 cents / km
very expensive, for C segment, in fact u are 60% highway
Try to empty the tank by 95% & pump with Ron 95 from:
1) Shell
2) Esso
3) Caltex
4) BHP
U can feel the different

I tested above brands vs Petronas
My personal experience, Petronas can't go far (high FC & low power)
I heard petronas Ron 95 & 97 ll dirt your engine too
check it out

Petronas = Proton
Shell = Volk Wagon
Esso = BMW
Caltex = Merc
BHP = Volvo

World Top 10 company from fortune Report
Shell, world no 1
Exxon Mobil (Esso Mobil), world no 2
Caltex & BHP, still top 10
Petronas (top 100)

On highway, what is your average speed? Mine with almost same percentage as yours can go to about 510km.. Speed at highway around 110km/h.

Added on July 16, 2012, 11:10 pmDo you follow manufacturer recommended air pressure for tyres? If i'm not mistaken:
- carry not more than 3 people, 33 psi front and rear
- carry more than that (full loads) 35 front and 45 rear..

Sometime i follow it if carry person more than 3, but will not go up to 45 psi for rear tyres.. Only max 40 psi..

I'm driving a Mazda 3 2.0 sedan
Mileage now almost 4000km

I pump about RM80-85 each time..
Drive till totally 0 before I pump
Rough mileage of about 400-420 km

I drive primarily to work(Jalan 222) and back home(Setia Alam)
Travel on NKVE abt 110-140km/h
Travel on Federal slow due to jam...

So far, BHP & Esso works the best for me.
I've also tried Caltex & Petronas, but doesn't give me as good mileage, about 380km for both
Will try Shell next..

Bro,
Honestly, the best measurement is
i) Try to empty the tank by 95%
ii) Pump new brand of petrol (full tank)
iii) Press 0.000 on the meter
iv) Use for few day & full tank again
v) example RM50/300 = 0.166 very accurate measurent

U may test many brands & stick to 1 work effective to ur machine
