I booked my M3 last 2 weeks, and had a deal with my SA to deliver the car on february. (due to the fact that I want a 2012 number plate). My SA called me last 2 days informing me that Mazda and all other Japanese car price increase by 2012. (which is so the very last minute). Mazda car price will increase this week itself about RM3000 to RM5000 for Mazda 3.
Any news from You guys?

QUOTE(Jim.tan @ Dec 3 2011, 03:18 PM) Not only Mazda.. lots of others brand increase their price too>.> beside February can get 2012? That's like too fast? hehe but the increase of price is NOT confirmed Thats what I was told b4. First, I can get the car after Chinese new year. Second, price increase this week itself. My SA confirmed me twice. I had no choose but to make my decision to get the car b4 te price increase or get it next year where the price will be increased about 3 to 5 thousand.

QUOTE(Versalius @ Dec 6 2011, 11:10 PM) hey peeps! I have a mazda3 too! I got it awhile ago but I'm starting to realise that my fuel tank is inaccurate. Everytime I refuel, it only fills in 43 litres and drives about 450km. I saw the online brochure and by right the car has a 55l fuel tank. Any one has similar problems? If you r able to pump to 55l.. I don't think u can even drive to the petrol station in the first place. Haha.. When the refill indicator appear it doesn't mean ur tank is empty.. There are reserves left..

QUOTE(tALEz @ Dec 21 2011, 11:40 PM) Hi Guys! I'm interested in the Mazda 3, but am totally new to the Mazda scene. I wanna ask: - Other than the looks and price, what is the difference between the sedan and the hatchback? Any difference specs wise? - The hatchback has this GL and GLS version, what is the difference? Totally can't find any information online. Sedan and hatchback only difference is the boot space. GL and Gls only difference are Gls comes with leather and GPS touch screen which is free now as their promotion.

QUOTE(lamode @ Dec 25 2011, 01:18 AM) its already launched in CA, based on the pricing over there, its more or less the same... hopefully it will be the case for us http://www.mazda.ca/MciWeb/displayPage.act...vehicleCode=M3SYeah it's alreAdy launched in the US and Japan few months ago.. But Malaysia will probably late 2012 or 2013. And hopefully the skyactiv technology won't be more expensive compared to now...

QUOTE(King2ndGenX @ Jan 7 2012, 06:59 PM) Hi there, proud to telling u guys i just got my M3 2.0 Sedan White on this week. I found there are 3 cons about this car 1) After 2 days drive kaw kaw on the road, i also realize there are some annoying "click clark" sound coming from front or maybe sunglasses compartment. 2) The Auto light sensor is kinda sensitive . It even on at 4pm in the evening. =.= 3) There no auto lock for the door. (hope someone can help me sort this out) =( But overall i still love and proud to own this car =D I do agree that the auto light sensor kinda sensitive. Evening sun only the lights will turn on already. I do feel abit of massaging on the acceleration pedal. Not that hard just tiny vibration. Still no weird sound for me after 4 days of driving. Except for the power stering sound. Turn on ur music and it will drown everything XD and lastly.. Road noise..

QUOTE(kienu @ Jan 17 2012, 12:55 AM) read this comment from Nissan forum: QUOTE(kimhoong @ Jan 17 2012, 01:13 AM) I have test driven Mazda3 2.0 (actually was aiming at 1.6 only but no test drive car for 1.6). Despite better handling, more sportier and better equipped (and latest trend) in both interior and exterior, I still find the suspension is too stiff and not comfortable. My future wife told me that she felt like vomiting after I completed the test drive rclxub.gif Different preference maybe. So far I've driven and a couple of friends. Except a few talking about lesser leg room and huge dash board. Other than that.. The ride was considerably smooth.

Hi, New M3 owner here I've been driving the car for 2 weeks now and trying to hit the first 1K mark service so that I can send in the car for checking for a very bad knocking sound coming from the rear right hand side. It just terrible for such a new car to develop this noise on the collection day. I collected the car from Bermaz Glenmarie showroom where the salesman explained the features and took the the road for the nearest gas station for petrol. The funny thing is that, there was no knocking sound during that whole time when I was in KL. The knocking sound was so loud and only developed after I enter the highway heading back towards my home city later that day. The knocking from the rear is more apparent when I apply the brakes or when doing a left turn. At other times, its just knocking even at low speed (25-50kmph) on normal road. Knocking is not heard during higher cruising speed. So, two weeks have passed and I have done some googling...it seems this is a common problem for Mazda3's? Just wanna get some sharing and experience from Mazda 3 owners here bout this. Other forums have suggested it could be the rear sway bar linkage that has come loose. Some say that its d rear suspension bushing and some say its the suspension itself that is faulty. Got mine for 3 weeks. Done my first thousand km service. So far no knocking sound only the electronic sound when turning steering wheel. Even can be hardheard outside of the car. When I switch gear from P, u cab heard the unlocking sound from Ur brake. And the auto close side mirror noise really annoying and loud. Sometimes both left and right don't close evenly haha. Other than that, no knocking noise from anywhere of the car. Yet?

Took my car to G'zox Sunway branch to polish and coating yesterday at 11am. Told me approximately 1 1/2 hours to finish.when they are about done, I went to check my car for the second time and found a paint coating chipped off from my headlanp area. It was at least 1cm in diameter. I asked the superwiser what happened to it, and his staff told him the chip was already there.. I just inspected the car before I sent the car so I was sure it wasn't there. The supervisor didn't look convinced that it was their fault until I found another deep paint scratch at my back door handle. It was at least 5 inches long this time! The superwiser only took some cheap paint to cover the paint chip area and asked if I was satisfied! Of course i was furious and said NO! The colour was not even close to the original!
At last he took it to the car paint shop to touch up the chipped off area. I called up the manager named Thomas and complaint about my dissatisfaction. He seemed not too keen in talking to me and told me its normal these things happened. That was the stupidest thing to say and it didn't make me feel any better. I waited from 11am till 6pm. 7 freaking hours!!! I canceled 4 appointments just to sit there and wait.
The paint job was not even close to perfect. If u look closely u can still see tiny dent. They apply me free anti rain repellent as their compensation. Anti rain repellent? I can even apply it myself!
The boss didn't even call back to ask if I'm satisfied and if anything is okay at my side. I took my car for them expecting them to do a good job detailing my car in the end they made it worse and did nothing to compensate me for my 7hours!!!
G'zox Sunway Branch gave me and my car the worst service even. I would suggest you guys to think twice before sending ur beloved car for them to handle.
One more thing I found out this morning, where there's a tiny dent on the silver panel on the passenger side. Please do not bring your car to G'zox if you value your car.

It was raining and I drove over a puddle of water. When I reached y barking space, I heard the was a dragging sound under my front bumper. I went to check and found that the plastic panel right below the fog lamp bumper came out and bent over. I conclude it wad the water that pushed the plastic panel and bent it. Anything like this happened? S it covered under warranty?
