maybe thailand and japan already had some sort of mou whereby for asean countries, they will be the 1st receiver of the product. in return, japan may get something else. or its just marketing strategy.

being one step behind has pro and cons, one of it is the quality may be improved. i do hope that they would include all these sophisticated technologies eventhough i dont really know the functions of them. lol

Anybody knows where we can change our info screen to coloured gps screen with blue tooth? I really love the original audio unit design and hard hearted to change the whole unit to touch screen LCD.

And anybody did a courtesy lamp for the side mirror? which is when you unlock your car, the lights under the side mirror will light up. Ive check and there's a rectangular cover below it perfect to fit the led lights on it.

I've seen someone did it on youtube and he connects the wiring to the dome light (interior ceiling light)

Wanna know if anybody did it before?

P1 & Hynda born at the same age but they managed to penetrate at international level with greast design & high tech, but our P1 proud of their own Campro engine (1.6 with 2.0 performance, can u believe this)?

somehow i hope the hatchback launching before the sedan hopefully has skyactiv.. maybe only sedan do not have..

I called Bermaz to check when they ll launched new facelift of M3
Almost 1 month ++, everytime they ll answer once the current stocks finished,
I think their management programed their staffs to tell customers, we have abt 40 units for both models
Since last month say like this.

FYI, M3 HB cleared & ready to launch this end month
M3 Sedan expected to launch Mid Sept 2012

I am not interested for current model (2.0L), bcoz old facelift, no push start & red meter instead of white
If they launch Sept 2012 without skyactiv, sale momentum also slow
Dec 2012 again through to clear again

Skyactiv ll launched in 2013
Expectation price lower due to GREEN ENGINE (Thai decleare Green engine like status like Hybric)

My opinion, even though we are the 2nd country (after Japan) to CKD M3 model
yet we still losing safety features like
DSC, VTC & VSC
Actually cheaper by RM14K is by gov tax but what happened is Bermaz (rob) remove this safety feaures as can't see
Strategy, CBU emphasis on aove features
CKD not mentioned those features (customers also not aware)

I am affraid Skyactiv in Thailand full spec but assemble in Malaysia only 50% of skyactive, bcoz CKD ma...

After readings all ur comments, I find it very hard to comprehend, if u want skyactive so much but dont want to wait, go cx-5, if want it in M3, then go stay in Japan/US, they have it now (even cheaper).

If want to get Bermaz throw in all features inside M3 now, go buy the company & decide to do it now, it will benefit most of us as consumer n M3 enthusiasts... Else no need whining that our current M3 dont have this dont have that. Its a simple marketing strategy. Of coz they want to clear current engine stock, getting gov approval on new skyactiv model & itll be slow since mazda is not a popular model like other mainstream brands.

We here only the owner & potential owner of M3 that we want to enjoy the ride, sharing on improvement n enhancement... Its like what motivators used to say, "stop complain of what we dont have, but think of how to cherish what we have"

Ooo btw, if want kaw2 models enter our shores at cheap price, go shake the current gov thru ur vote... They dictate whether car companies can bring their model in or not n dictate the price to safekeep P1 & P2, national car will not die, but if they being pampered by gov like now, they never improve n rakyat still think their cars reliability is still inferior. all need to do is to make sure they are not pampered and they need to struggle to compete by provide us with more models with all features, reliable parts, awesome look, good bank loan rates and of course very cheap price tag compared to now...

Added on July 21, 2012, 4:00 pmPlease, Civic didnt copy the preve. Civic concept was introduced during 2011 or earlier i cant remember much. Way before preve was launched. Proton Preve began production during the late 2011 with no news of concept or any teasers. So who's copying who now ? Personally for me, the Civic tail light resembles the Fourth generation of Honda City before facelift and it was during year 2002. Persona facelift only introduced during 2010. So who's copying who now?

In conclusion, i wanna be proud of our national cars, but i wouldnt think any established car company out there would wanna take proton as an example or even copy them.

additional on the preve, the idea actually come out during 2010 and I managed to sneak peak it in 2011 when design was just finalized. Civic concept was introduced in 2011, clearly the R&D should be in 2010 or even end of 2009 before preve (we called that P3 that time) or global car concept from proton was spoke out.

Hi, i am having this knocking sound coming from the front right area of the dashboard. My ride is a Mazda 3 2.0 sedan. Problem started about a month after I got my car. Hard for me to localise the cause and origin of the sound, sent to SC along federal highway , they can't seem to pinpoint the problem. Anyone can recommend a good sc that will be able to rectify this problem? Around klang valley area...

Sound comes on while driving, worse on bumpy roads. Sometimes even during idling...damn irritating

thats require ddismantling ur dashboard, sumthing really loose then, like mine only during reverse where the rpm s very low causing the whole dashbord to sound rattling. if pressing the accelerator while reversing, the sound gone. I think its quite normal for a big engine on a compact sedan like this...
