Hey guys, newbie here and so glad to find this thread in LYN. Planning to go zoom zoom with M3 in near future, having some doubts over the caska HU and hope you guys can chip in some opinions,

1. Those who installed the caska HU, how was the sound quality compared to stock HU?

2. With caska HU installed, is the iPod port in center console still working?

3. The stock iPod port in center console is using a 3.5mm jack/aux in or it's a iPod connection port same as their charger which plug in the bottom?

4. Any of you guys installed an iPod integration kit to your M3?

I was with Alpine 9887, from my experience USB/aux in and alpine iPod integration cable has a big difference in sound quality in term of dynamic and details. Although most of the time I listen to cd, but sometimes friends complain the music is boring and iPod is a good alternative for them.

Don't get me wrong, I won't be giving up a M3 due to an iPod port (sounds silly huh) just wanna know what's the upgrade availability out there. I'm quite into audiophile, sooner or later will sure backside itchy upgrade the whole system but not the time right after getting the car, that will burn a huge hole in my pocket. Need some opinions from sifus here, thanks!

Hey guys,

Need some suggestions or advices from you guys about what shall I do next regarding to my case.

I placed a booking on a 2.0 HB on April, then when come to the process of loan application there is some ding dong back n forth which delayed me 2 months. Then when the loan is finally approved, my sale agent said he has released my car to other customer and now is totally out of stock. When got stock? unknown.... As I know ckd HB had been stop production.

So my questions come,

- shall u at least notify me for releasing the car which allocated to me.

- I truly understand your sales need to go on, but at least u will find a replacement ASAP as I'm keen on purchasing the HB. Or you were assuming my loan can't be approved forever?

- called to HQ last Friday they checked and said my application status is still "on going", magic happens this morning called them again. They said my status became "cancelled".....WTF!!!

- they asked me to scan the receipt of booking and email them, they will send over to management and figure out what they can come out with.

Honestly I am a bit disappointed on how they managed this, any member experience similar case like this can give some advice? I'm keen on HB which I stated to them.

Bro, i understand your pain. i booked my 2.0 HB on end of March. until now i still pending on Bermaz paper and i also been told the HB already stop production. Lucky i able to secure my HB with provided chasis and engine number.

i just wonder why take so long for Bermaz to get the car out.

It seems we are on a same broken ship in the painful journey...

Since you said you have secured the chasis and engine number, means the unit is allocated, ain't it?

At last something delighting came my way, I was told that my HB 2.0 will be here in July equipped with facelift bumper and keyless push start system. I guess facelift is coming to town soon? Definitely no skyactiv but with some cosmetic updates.

Hope thing goes well without anymore drama happening, looking forward to join the M3 family anytime soon.

are you confirm?  told by dealer, HB stop production.

Yes I know it's stopped production in May for CKD, where Mazda is gonna get the unit I would leave it them to handle as long as they able to get me one since my booking was placed before they stopped production. Bro how's your ride going since chassis and engine number secured?

In my opinion, going back to Mazda is the best choice since they know the wiring diagram but might cost u a bomb.

Or

So far the most presentable one I have seen together with door handle unlock button,
BUT for Mazda vehicle is only COMING SOON in Q4 this year...

yea, i have try both yoko s-drive & good year F1A2, F1A2 really silent, nice grip on wet n dry road, but yoko s-drive is noisy...recommended to M3 owner
*
I read some pretty good review over the F1A2, the only downside I was told by a tyre shop owner is the tyre side wall not really lasting, is that true? Best to ask u since u tried that tyres on ur M3.

I'm looking forward to change tyres once get my ride soon

Basically it's protective coating to your car paint/glass.
http://triboscoatings.com/tribos-and-mazda-in-malaysia/

I'm not sure whether which protection they applied to the facelift model, it has 4 protections in total.
Since it is FOC, just smile at it and zoom zoom with it rclxms.gif
