u need to slowly patiencely tweak for correct direction,.

just setup and leave it , of course it wont work, due to like what blacktubi say wrng direction,..


when direction is right, speed and signal both will pick up and stable

just buy a Patch Antenna, simple

just flash open wrt and tweak modem -> 33TX , done,.

no need patch antenna or strainer @ 33TX..

can i flash open wrt and use it with modem E367?
my speed so awful if using the router.normal modem can get 10Mbps but using router 3420 max only 3Mbps

all the step is in first post,..

u can tweak / flash try and see

just bear in mind openwrt mainly is for stability, consistency, fast connect & fast reconnect if DC, not for increase speed

Tried this a few times. can connect to puTTY but still fail to update list. might doing wrong somewhere.. Any other way to push package list without using GUI?

as far as i know, either that or plug in lan cable in blue port router and click updates list plus install packages

I cant even access 192.168.1.1 if i plug lan cable in blue port router..

for 192.168.1.1 u need to plug in yellow port

am sure u did something wrong,. make sure u did right step,.

first post method is plug lan cable into yellow port , not blue port

i also follow all the step in front, but just need to set the wireless 1st as need to use laptop to wifi connect before can share internet to update the package, unfortunately also cant....

Maybe u can try beta 2, see got this problem or not.

still fail to update... my bad... revert back to tplink again and must read more before try again..

is it easy to revert back to stock FW if the OpenWRT fails?

just flash stock FW like that lor. easy one. haha! i backup the router setting at first. then when finish revert, just restore to normal setting. revert is easy, moving forward is hard!
