MR3420 v2 still using the same wireless card like v1 used which is AR9287. So, in WLAN, you will not see any improvement. I only buy if TP Link put dual-band (2.5GHz + 5GHz) wireless in their router. AR9287 only support single-band wireless. Dual-band routers are more efficient, have longer range, are less prone to interference from household devices, such as microwaves and older cordless phones, and are faster.

Yes, according to OpenWRT wiki.
I want to buy dual-band router, anyone know any seller in garage sales? This is router raya. Hehe. One of my notebook have Intel 5300 wireless card which does support dual-band.

to all sifus i am doing open wrt flashing for my mr3420. Here is the problem i tried to update the update list but it shows bad address.
