Finally join this family. Realized although speed something really can reach minimum 0.7Mb/s
After using this router (Signal 100%) via LAN cable, definitely BOOST. Can reach 2Mb/s, download IDM can reach 3~4Mb/s |

QUOTE(xernix @ Oct 21 2012, 11:07 PM) you can easily revert back to tplink stock firmware from openwrt. Just make sure you reset to default, and then load back the tplink stock firmware revert back? I thought they mention no turning back due of u need to remember your QSS serial no.but if reset to default, it wont revert back to tplink stock firmwave. just setting back to original as I try to System -> Backup/Flash Firmwave, can able see reset to default. then click, nothing changed at all. either keep configure this setting till ok. revert back look like long journey This post has been edited by danieltan: Oct 21 2012, 11:14 PM |

QUOTE(xernix @ Oct 21 2012, 11:19 PM) Yes, System -> Backup/Flash Firmware > Reset to Default. noob in linux. Then go to flash new firmware image, untick keep setting, browse to tplink original firmware > flash If anything goes wrong just claim 1-to-1 exchange from tplink too risky to me. better stick with old firmwave. thank xernix |

QUOTE(fat16 @ Oct 22 2012, 07:26 AM) linux is not that hard anyway. linux is about FREEdom. properly this statement applied to those Networking Expert. Original open wrt is like ubuntu. U have to install this install that to make it work as u want. kaskus open-wrt version is like linux mint. It the same ubuntu but with everything already bundle. Just intall and use. backtrack is also the same ubuntu with extra networking analysis software ready. althought the step look easy but when really try to do whole step kinda complicated. eg: just like u go read a book cover without book content. |

i still stuck in between update package list.
What I have done so far is, Connect 3G using mobile partner. Share 3G using LAN port. the port will automatic change to 192.168.137.1 then i plug out LAN port to Router BLUE port. connect http://192.168.1.1 cannot connect at all into the web interface. i stuck 2 things: 1. not able login router web interface 2. not able download package struggle to overcome this problem by using : putty and configuration on LAN setting This post has been edited by danieltan: Oct 27 2012, 02:58 PM |
