I tried the hair dryer too.but seems like it doesnt help either. How long should i use the hair dryer? The fine lines at the sides dont seems to go away.Very obvious when i look at the screen from a certain angle. sad.gif

i flashed bricked kernel 1.5 and camfix and running for a day, no significant battery drain as compare to stock kernel. yet to calibrate the battery. you may try to calibrate the battery and see how is the battery performing.

the rom is running smoother and allows overclocking. i'm currently running at 1.18ghz still cos personally think that is best setting for best performance and battery life.

ram is 768. just that the task killer list 5xx. i'm not sure why lol. don't worry bout it. i think someone posted this b4, but here it is again.

http://lifehacker.com/5650894/android-task...ouldnt-use-them

read it, its good read. in short, don't worry bout the 80mb ram u have left. android doing its job.

as for the storage. it is one of htc's Achilles heel haha. really sucks. but i still have 900mb like dat left, so still better than my old wildfire which had less than 20mb always lol.

5xx is correct, 768 is the total memory we have, 200mb of the memory is shared to the graphic card. the task killer's listed memory is not accurate, the true amount of memory you have left can be viewed using the running services in the setting.

low memory as in RAM or user memory for application installation? i assume you've done your study before hopping onto android OS but care to share why are you so skeptical over the memory issue till considering switching over to windows or meego?

correct me if i am wrong, the way android handling RAM is different with other OS. i'm currently running on custom rom and kernel, at times when i am browsing or multi tasking, the available free RAM shown is around 60-80mb and i dont feel any lag or in-responsiveness as comparing to 120-130mb free RAM available with no application is running during normal time. smile.gif

That's right... why you wanna keep so much RAM for?

I see my fren SGS2 with 1GB RAM, as always, I saw him at most of the time, he still have 200-300mb ram available, what for??? so much RAM wasted.

Coming back to my Sensation XE, I have try playing Asphalt 6, then mid-way, access whatsapp, then 2 mins later, access lowyat.net, then press back, and access FB app and then back playing Asphalt again... guess what?? No lag at all, WOW!!!.... I guess if iphone 4S can do this process without lag...

btw, I am playing ori Asphalt la, if install non-ori Asphalt, maybe got lag la... i dunno.
