I didn't see Buy New Fund in my existing PPA account.
I only see Top Up only.

yeah seems like cant choose a new fund thru PPA (only top up to existing funds) so may still need to go through the bank/FSM to buy new funds for first time then can top-up subsequent years.

Noted that the past 2 years, even Public Bank PRS which was bad the initial years are doing better.

Do you receive any email from them?
Maybe your account/profile is not created yet despite your enrollment.

No email received. Is it because my transaction was done after 5pm?

My account has been created years back during the dawn of PRS.

I read online of the various level of risk but Im still at loss. Whats the pros n cons beside higher risk = higher return/loss?

Based on the tnc, they will help him forward to the provider. If u buy principal fund, u application go to principal assets investment lo.
First time have to wait until they helpbu open account n they will email or mail ur statements. That time baru he can perform online top up.
Like me, i through FSM, FSM forward my application to affin Hwang, after that i get my ppa number n statement from Affin hwang
Second time if i buy from principal, principal will mail me statement. FSM just help me be the middle man.
Am i right?

Only that 8 middle man can open ppa account n sell u prs fund. Right?

That is not called middle person.
PPA is directly working with PRS provider.
Online enrollment at PPA website should save all the manual paper works if we were to buy with FSM.

FSM is the middle person since they forward your application to PRS provider.

Upon the successful completion of your online transaction, your contributions will be forwarded to your Provider(s) for their onward processing at the next cycle. You will receive a separate acknowledgement from your Provider(s) once they have created the units in the relevant fund(s) for your benefit. Please note that successful completion of the online transaction does not guarantee the successful opening of the account. The respective Provider(s) may take up to 7 business days to confirm or reject the opening of the account and the contributors are obliged to provide all the necessary information (if requested by the respective Provider[s]) for the verification purposes. You may contact us if you wish to know the status of your transactions. Our contact details can be found here: Contact Us

There're two accounts to be opened throughout the whole online enrollment process:

1. PPA account at PPA website
2. PRS fund account at respective PRS provider

According to the T&C, PPA will complete the PPA account opening AFTER PRS account at PRS provider is successfully created with numbers of units and etc.
