there is an annual fee of RM8 to PPA if you make a contribution for that year.

I have started investing in this PRS under Hwang since a few years ago when it started, with a monthly RM250 direct debit until now. At that time it's still under PPA. I have not really check and compare the returns among all the PRS funds.

Just read about this FSM and would like to know more about it. Is it something worth to look into? Or the differences is negligible since my contribution is not that high?

Thanks in advance

Do you need to pay sales charges on your monthly buy of this prs fund?
It is a better practise to review n compare the performance of your prs fund with other prs funds of simlar mandate every 2-3 yrs. to see how the fund manager performed n possibily do action to change status of yr invested money.
It is yr money though thus it is also ok for you to buy n forget too.

Err... actually not too sure about the charges since so far never do any sales, only top-up. Let me check back my statement sweat.gif sweat.gif

Thanks for the advice, will start checking the performance of the other funds.

Maybe this one can help you make your decision.
RM40 out of RM 3k is instant 1.3% return. so make it more attractive to top up via FSM.

If you do that, that means you won't be having income earned in 2020 (to be declared tax in April 2021) that are subjected to taxes that you need to reduce tax amount?

Hi, I would like to understand more about this promo.
So for existing PRS member, I would need to open an account in FSM assuming I do not have a account with them, and a RM8 fees will be deducted when I top up?

enrolled few days back thru PPA, no confirmation received either email or sms...
called in later in the evening and person behind the call mentioned my application declined due to name mismatch... i believe put in as requested though... and would be refunded in 7-10 days..

would the refund really takes so long for their cancellation done by them on the same day of application ?

*** PPA / PRS website is not really user friendly.. at least as when i used it

Since you already has a PPA number, RM8 will be deducted by the fund House when you buy in.... FSM My has 0%sales charge

I think fsm will not charge you. The fund house that you are buying prs fund will charge you. Fsm will charge you on their behalf
