worth if ur annual income hit the top tax bracket, 24% one, which is after 100k income. 3k tax relief is equal to a rebate of rm700-800. So when u calculate, 700/3000 x 100% is like instant 23% return. summore u get rm1000 after u put 1000, instant 100% return and it is another force saving also, good for your future at least u have another pool of money.

QUOTE(Trulyasia@ @ Nov 29 2017, 11:34 AM) not much, u say ur annual income 50k, then tax relief personal 9k, epf and life insurance assume u fully utilize 6k, then 2.5k assume u subscribe unifi also full. 50k-9k-6k-2.5k is 32.5k. so the tax u are paying is like at most 1k? then if 32.5-3k tax relief, is 29k, so u only can save less than 100 maybe lol.So not worth it. Please do ur own homework if u wan to calculate exact u can save, no spoon feeding here. else get the fuking PRS agent who persuade u to buy their PRS to do it for u, they are paid for that, i aint. https://ringgitplus.com/en/blog/Personal-Fi...Guide-2017.html |

i wanna ask for PRS.. the account B withdrawal tax penalty is 8% of the withdrawal amount?
because if let say i invest 3k for tax relief. my tax rebate is around 700+ at maximum bracket. so i already earn 700 back, then my 3k at 30% is around 900+, so i retrieve 900 from my account b kena 8% penalty which RM72, which is still untung. Is my calculation correct? This post has been edited by ben3003: Apr 30 2019, 10:38 AM |

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 30 2019, 10:40 AM) Penalties Pre-Retirement Withdrawals meaning based in the total amount u have inside ur account? Cannot understandIs the 8% tax applied to the full withdrawal amount or the net amount minus fees/ charges? The tax penalty of 8% imposed on pre-retirement withdrawals would be applied on the full withdrawal amount. |
