What PRS online can do, FSM - PRS - CIS can already do better. Why go the trouble?

No benefits except some lucky draw event as below, and can get annual statement with PPA & PRS logo.

Let say if I bought Affin Hwang PRS Fund from FSM. Do we need to send the form to PRS provider (Affin Hwang) ourselves or to FSM?

Memang la. You buy from FSM, you let them do the running. Name also under your name. Some more no service charge.

You go buy from the fund house yourself, kena charge 3%+ service charge.

Only for first time. Later on, no need to send any form. Can buy online.

PRS investments are not guaranteed and it does not have any statutory minimum dividend policy. You are advised to read and understand the Disclosure Document and Product Highlights Sheet to understand the risks involved before investing into a PRS.

Hey guys, I just registered a PPA account with CIMB Investment Bank without knowing FSM offer Zero Sales Charges for PRS fund.
My advice: Register to CIMB bank as it can link to your CIMB clicks (you can't link your PPA account if you registered thru CIMB Investment)

1. If I intend to buy PRS fund from FSM, do I need to register a new PPA account with them?
2. I tried to login my account thru PPA.com, I realize there is only one fund available for me to select. How to add more funds from CIMB? or from other service Provider?
3. What should I do I want to purchase funds from other service provider other than CIMB?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried asking FSM directly?

To answer your question 3: you would need to apply for those funds manually, getting the forms and all that. If via FSM, same concept. Need to get forms for each individual fund first, apply and submit to FSM then only proceed to buy into a fund using their online platform.
