honor camera it may not as gud as iphone4/4s but at least it was better than any entry level android smartphone below 1k price tag atm.

how can we always compared 1k vs 2k price tag smartphone?

it shud be 2k vs 2k
example
s2 vs iphone 4
note vs iphone 4s

It won't go very far if anyone takes a RM1K phone and compare it with another which is 2x the price. The difference is there. Probably Huawei Honor can be compared against a RM1.4k phone; that was how I felt when I bought mine.

For bragging rights vs other phones, use the most vibrant Live wallpaper you can find and make the timeout like 10 minutes

I'm likely to rollback to 2.3.6. With Feb8 ICS, I'm having poorer battery life and very erratic battery life bar indicator. One moment it was more than 15%, next it became 4% then it says 10% and like few minutes after that, the battery is totally drained. Happened twice and I have near to zero tolerance of such things.

I was just comparing both of them because I thought both comes with 8MP camera. I dont know much about camera that's why i made such a comparison.

What's this MIUI actually? Is it a custom ROM or it just tweaks the stock android. How come it's not consider rooting? Then there will still be warranty if i use this MIUI?

yes we hope the new driver in ICS update help, however it is still hardware constraint. let's and see.

What version of stock ROM are you using??

Why lah want to get angry just because your question is not answered?? Be patience and cool la bro.
Can you read chinese? If yes you can visit www.miui.com to learn more about their ROM. China's own XIAOMI is using MIUI as their stock ROM though.

About the warranty issue, I dont think I cant give you an answer. Different Customer Service will say different thing about rooting. So its all depends on the person you talk to when you send your warranty. By the way, I would say Huawei phones is very good to play with if you like flashing ROM. Its one of the easiest Android for flashing. You can flash all you want, if you face any issue, I can try to help but I dont hold any responsibility if your phone is bricked.

Just joking only. Haha.

I've copied the dload file, updated, deleted the dload file and done until the purple screen part plug in the cable and replace the recovery file form the Honor_tools file from the original folder into the 1 into the phone?

Then i unplugged my battery and replug it back. I manage to wipe my data and clear my cache but then I'm stuck at the "install zip from sd card" part.

I realised the "miui_Honor_2.2.23_20 (zip file)" isnt in my phone. So i transferred it from my comp to my phone. But then after that i can go back to this place anymore although i clicked both volume up and power button simultaneously.

HOW? HELPPP!!!

Also how.come all my contacts are gone after updating to MIUI although i save my contacts in my SIM? I thought updating just wipes the SD card?

my problem: I am unable to add my primary gmail account to my phone, error msg is as following "user name and password error" but its fine when i tried logging in with my desktop. I tried using another email no problem i am to login.
How it starts:
Initially i was using ICS with the firmware before B977, i was able to sync my email but after upgrading my firmware (B977) gapps disappears, so decided to downgrade to GB using superuser etc. This is where the problem begins i am now unable to add my primary email account using my phone.
Anyone has any idea how to solve this?

So you are using GB B876 now? If yes, then try to google for "gapps-gb-full-20110815-signed.zip" and flash it using CWM. Reboot for another time after flashing. Hope it helps.
