p/s: I'm not getting any shares or money for promoting this phones, but this is the 1st time i am very satisfied with the speed of Android OS compare to my previous HTC android OS phones.

u can try Camera360 app...see whether meet up ur standard....i tried ics camera b4 color looks more crispy...but i encountered force close & responsiveness abit slow sometimes...

correction, dun buy the low and mid level quality china brand. U should expect something good from the underdog company like Huawei. They are well known in telco's business 

From my point of view, i guess that only happen in US or other country. In US, when u subscribe to the telco's u get free phones and most of the phone built is really stable and telco's will make sure it can last 1-2years depending on your usage..But it's by contract and way cheaper than what we have here in Malaysia. For upgrades issue, Telco's in Malaysia is still better than other country. Probably because the concept of Good Service After Sales. And for telco's in US, thats y people are eager to built and flash their own ROM because of the limitation from the Telco's itself. So, Malaysia still boleh maaa . I use HTC Hero last time, service not bad. Sent my phone to HTC Repair centre, and they flash the updated Stock ROM. For Blackberry, it's even better, Probably because of RIM. So free upgrades. and now, im using Huawei, it's more and more better, free download from the download site and easy upgrade.

galaxy nexus and huawei honor so much different in pricing. If u have the cash, go for galaxy nexus.

Try RecForge Pro, it has a variety of mp3 quality to choose from

i feel u man. same set of complaints, especially the reboots. Another gripe is the missing power saver mode. it was nice not to have to download an app or turn everything off one by one to save power.

Interesting in Huawei Honor now..
But just no budget temporary for getting one... haha
will go survey pricing within my area first... XD

I played a few games. Didnt experience any lag. But sometimes when performing tasks like opening/closing app and so on it takes awhile to load. But i guess thats just normal. Maybe i have too many background tasks running. But you can kill them with ATK.

Ya agree with the camera being a disappointment. When i compared it with my friends i4s although both phone is equipped with an 8MP camera but i4s' picture turns out much clearer and sharper. Hope that ICS update makes a change to that.

Ooo. Anyway I still hope ICS update makes a difference to the current camera quality. I heard it will. Am I correct?

I just got my hand on the phone. So far most works like a charm, although there are times where the 3G/internet just died off. A quick reset of phone and it works again.

Initially I thought it was Celcom issue. But apparantly not.

Waiting for official ICS rom.

Unpack and copy UPDATE.APP and UPDATE_CUST.APP to dload folder in a freshly formatted micro SD Card.

Go to Settings > Storage > Software Update > SD Card Upgrade then select OK to begin updating your Huawei Honor U8860.
