like the volume adjustment bar, is it in green or gold? or the download progress bar, mine's green, then in settings ur icons all is the aosp icons or new icons? coz mine i see like only the status bar and notification panel is themed only. Overglow is yellow tho

The gold theme you see is it the one xda check rom's thread? Below the green one and above the black one? If it is then that looks like jkay's gold theme probably intergrated with DK tweaks. If it is using jkay gold theme then the progress bar, volume bar will still be green. All jkay themes like that. Only the status bar and notification will change.

Edit: I downloaded the gold theme. There is no Settings.apk in it so your icons in settings would not change. It looks like Jkay theme but with tweaks for DK.

Using touch xpower XWKI4 rom. Maybe its compatibility issue... I'm running ninpo fine now... we'll see how it goes. I'll revert to siyah every now and then when it is updated cause ninpo is still at 2.1.3.... which is quite a while already..

True. I kinda fancied siyah too.if it weren't for this forced close issues, I'd have stuck to it

OMG! updating ace through kies was such a breeze and fast. the whole process took only 10 min. god I'm pissed dry.gif
Guess our SGS2 is to complex for kies to handle doh.gif

LOL. Will update my ace later. Ace been out longer so should get 2.3.4. Flashing through kies will not wipe the phone right?

BTW now got new rom KI8 2.3.5.

no doubt weird things to happen with this phone... smile.gif

encountered this 1-2 times... phone shows got signal, but the error messages says otherwise.

as for phone shutting down, i have on encountered 3-5 times. but i cannot be 100% sure what happened. all i know what i placed it in pocket and later when i took it out, it was off. when i first mentioned this, some forumers did ask if i was using a case, etc... indicating case could be the culprit.

hmm, do provide me some feedback for the shutdown issue whether is still persisting after update. not sure wan update thru kies or flash custom rom hmm.gif

i tot ace is introduced same time with galaxy SII?

nope.. it didn't wipe cos only got option to backup contacts and bookmarks. All still intact after upgrade smile.gif

from what i can recall... ya. can't really be 100% sure though coz it's not happened in the last 1-2 weeks. sorry, didn't really bother coz i think it could have been user problem as well. smile.gif

i accidentally dropped my s2 and it cant receive any service provider first. after that it cant read any sim card =.=! can it be fixed?

anyone registered e-warranty at the samsung website?

did you try reboot the phone? Drop mine for the first time today also. Thank god nothing happen sweat.gif
