I've send my phone SGS2 to Service Center plaza in Petaling Jaya. It has taken ONE WEEK and they told me they're changing my parts.

I hope the technician DOESN'T change my CHIPSET from
Exynos 4210 SoC CPU and ARM Mali-400 GPU
to
Texas Instruments OMAP4430 CPU and PowerVR SGX540 GPU.

I ish worries now.

Just to share how to check the model whether is it i9100 or i9100G

Stucked at boot screen S with yellow triangle.

And they told me they're changing parts. As far as i know, they just have to reflash. But....the technician told me they're waiting for parts arrival. I'm puzzled

I believe it was due to wrong Kernel when I try to flash.

Even if wrong flash/semi-brick, hardware are not involved.

I'm excited yet curious as tomorrow I'm going to the Samsung Service to collect it. Will update you guys here on what parts have been 'replaced'

Either ways, I'll see what they change from the report there.

Apparently just now i went to Samsung Service plaza, they told me they're changing my MOTHERBOARD!

OH NOES!!!!

I send to Samsung for service cause stuck at bootscreen S with yellow Triangle.

Then now they told me change motherboard. Parts just arrive today, sent in since 26 Sept. Ready by this week. :*(

First time I encounter such.....problem.

Finally my phone is back. They change my power board. God knows what the heck is that.

Replace PAB.

Anyways, mine is i9100G with 2.3.5

Any custom rom for this model?

Does anyone has 'clicking sound' issue for Papago X5 on i9100G model?

I'm using MFM maps. And the fonts are SOOOO SMALL! ><
