haha, just as i thought
go to the bank and ask them to change the debit card to non annual fee/non unlimited withdrawal option, but remember that you can withdraw from ATM for free for 4 times a month, after that it will be charge RM0.50 each

Erm, my experience, bring ur cimb atm card, ur i.c is enough. And prepare RM8 for the charges converting atm card to debit card . I'm not sure whether the RM8 is waived for now or not.

Can PBB D2D used to purchase Eva Air flight ticket? Previously I asked, they say must credit card and can't debit card? Have anyone tried other than MAS, Airasia...
Have you tried it yourself ? It shouldn't be a problem. There is however, one airline that is blocking the use of debit card to pay for their ticket through their website but i don't remember which airline is that already but i am pretty sure it's not EVA Air.

By the way, who told you that you must use a credit card ? EVA Air staff ? Sometimes some people don't know much about debit card. My advice is that you give it a try smile.gif

May i ask where are you going to fly to ? KL to Taipei ? If you are travelling in Economy Class, make sure you reserve a seat in the Evergreen Deluxe cabin. EVA Air is currently flying the Boeing 747-400Mixed Configuration to KL and this aircraft type has a big Evergeen Deluxe cabin and it is sold as Economy Class smile.gif Evergreen Deluxe is a Premium Economy Class cabin and it comes with wider seat and features more legroom thumbup.gif

Actually Bank card number/ credit card number is the number that appear on your card that you holding... Usually there will be a number appear on the card.... If you using the Debit card (you can use as credit card and the number that appear are same as credit card).... So far I heard is CIMB still cant have any online transaction but that is few month ago....
CIMB e.MasterCard can be used online but not the new CIMB debit MasterCard that was just introduced late last year.

The RM0.50 penalty for excess withdrawal will be automatically waived if your balance is not less than RM5,000 when the excess withdrawal occurs smile.gif

I've read through some of the posts, saying that in order to waive the annual fees for PBB Esso Mobil Debit card, you need to swipe at least once a month. But I visited their website just now, it is stated

"Annual card fee waiver for life without any conditions."

Or maybe the policy has changed since so many competitors out there?

Oops, my bad. Might have confused myself with PBB Visa Electron Debit.

An additional question, how much normally does Maybankard Visa Debit charges for overseas transaction (admin fee)?

What happen if your debit card got stolen? Of course u make a report quickly. Will the thief be able to use the card before the report is made? How to safe guard our money from being stolen? How safe is Debt Card compare to Credit Card?

Depending on which debit card you're with, you can immediately call the card centre to block it just like the normal card you have (ATM/credit card)

I'm using Public Bank ATM & Debit Card. I heard that When I swipe the debit card, I don't have to key in pin or whatever to verify I'm the user?

Anyone got the RHB Platinum Debit Card? Doesnt' seem any special requirements for eligibility, and annual fees are waived after 5 swipes per annum. Unlike normal card fees which are RM20 pa.
