Sorry could not help with the ipv6 problem.

I have the "invalid mtu 1492" error also. I don't think it's important.

Try to set ipv6/ND/interfaces/MTU 1480

Thx for all the help.

In the end, I reset configuration and start over, now it is working with the same method of configuration.

Probably there is error somewhere that is hard to identify

I had the error too. I re-create the IPv6 then get the duplicate IP error. Works fine after reboot.

Hi guy, I would like you guy recommend me a compact size Mikrotik or equivalent Mikrotik router that capable 800mbps or 1gbps ISP provider. Using 12v 1A/2A should be sufficient. 4 port is enough, with WAN port configured as PPPoE without vlan tag.

So which model Mikrotik I can take?

I was using RB750Gr3 before 2020 with 800mbps plan,it works without any issue.
For now hAP AX2 or AX3 should be enough for up to 1G if you do not need any multiple complicated rule for the firewall.

If u have more budget, just straight up to RB5009 is also can. (which included 1x 10G SFP+ and 1x2.5G ethernet port)

Thank bro.

What about L41G-2axD aka hAP ax lite can hit 1gbps WAN from ISP?

Just take a look on it, and mikrotik test show that its cpu is weaker than Hap ac2.

So my suggestion is better take hap AX2 or AX3 for more cpu power.
More cpu power mean more customize setting can be done without cpu bottleneck. (Like VPN tunnel on Mikrotik can run higher speed without affecting network stability)

Yeah just saw it as well, and I might go for AX2 since I don't need the wifi.

Is there Mikrotik router without wifi model?

Yes - https://mikrotik.com/products/group/ethernet-routers
Those are mainly for non-wifi usage.

With fasttrack, should be okay, but if you need additional firewall rule and without fasttrack ,the cpu power is not enough for 1gbps.

Been playing around with HAP AX3 cpu utilisition with after succesful (im on 300 swu 2.0) 500Mbps speed upgrade.
The test was on Flent RRUL ip4/ip6 compete test.
PC connected using LAN.
The test was against sydney server.
No queue management what so ever.

Thanks for the tests. Any conclusions/observations from that?

Well,I dont know, but i'll try....

Hap ax3 could do more than 500Mbps and Hap ac2 max out approx 400Mbps WAN biggrin.gif

HAP ac2 on ipv4,with fasttrack enable with default firewall, i believe it can saturate gigabits port and most probably bottleneck on the 5GHz approx 400Mbps.
The above result was on both ipv4 and ipv6 routing competing with traffic.
I will try to produce flent test with cpu load (fasttrack ipv4 enable) with ipv6 disable (maybe later today) on my 500Mbps WAN connection, so you know roughly what speed you get on HAP ac2.

I believe HAP AX2 compareable with HAP AC2...with the same clock speed.I dont know the exact number.
