Using Unifi setup over here. I've successfully done so without any problem.

Any idea how to setup Guest Wi-Fi network? The guest network shall not have access to my LAN network.

I'm running Mikrotik setup with VLAN trunk as demonstrated in http://klseet.com/index.php/mikrotik/mikro.../vlans-trunking. Previously running fine until I last updated to v6.6 (now v6.7).

Whenever I copy file from second router, the 2 connection (between PC A and PC B) will lost connection (confirm by unable to ping). After 5 minutes or so, it will resume (confirm by able to ping). When i try copy files again, it will be having the same issue.

Any advise on how to get this check?

Tested go direct (without vlan trunk) no issue. Notice issue only when from VLAN trunk.

Anyone tried with hAP AC?

Fasttrack on= > 500mbps
Fastrack off = < 120mbps

Is this expected?

yup.. im turbo-ed 300mbps

fasttrack on = 340/360 mbps
fasttrack off = 65/75 mbps

i've got many simple queue list and if i enable the fasttrack, they'll (kids/neighbours around 15+ devices) eat all my bandwidth yaw  cry.gif
*
Ok, that about right I guess.

Yes, I understood the simple queues no longer working. For that workaround, I separated the subnet for the devices, and place in the "source" range for fasttrack, so other devices will follow the queues. ( You may use dedicated IP if not many devices for yourself)

No worry, thanks. I give a a try but no luck.
From what I can tell, it seems IPv6 is there but just now to my client.Attached Image

I do recall it is working properly during ROS6, but I didn't check immediately after updating to ROS7, that is why I am looking if there is any settings need to be tweak for it.

Yup, tried that. I am not sure now if related to the ROS 7 or TM having issue with IPv6 now.

Your clients not getting an ipv6 address or getting an ipv6 address but cannot access internet via ipv6?

Try this first

Delete this: /ipv6 nd prefix add interface=ether2-master prefix=::/0

See ok or not first then check the following.

Interface should be your bridge: /ipv6 address add comment="Unifi-Internet IPv6" from-pool=pppoev6 interface=ether2-master

add-default-route should be no: /ipv6 dhcp-client add add-default-route=yes
*
Client not getting IPv6 address. I noticed on the logs there is this error, is it important?

invalid mtu 1492 on UniFi-Internet from fe80::mask:mask:mask:mask

Still can't work probably I have to reset and start all the setup clean to test out

Thx for all the help.

In the end, I reset configuration and start over, now it is working with the same method of configuration.

Probably there is error somewhere that is hard to identify

I noticed recently my ipv6 missing again as well. Once I upgraded to latest firmware 7.12 it restored momentarily and one day it gone. Not sure if related to Unifi or mikortik ipv6 settings

It's Unifi problem, occasionally the BRAS failed to offer IPv6 prefixes to the DHCP clients and this problem will fix itself a couple of weeks later.
*
No wonder it was working intermittently. I tried reset and setup again it works for awhile then gone and I finally gave up thinking could be my specific configuration that causing bugs within the software.

Mind posting your configuration of IPv6 > DHCP Client?
Does the Status says "bound"?
*
Yes it is bound and I got the IPv6 address

This bug has been fixed years ago, it shouldn't happen again and I frankly don't think we are dealing with the same problem.

Can you post the configuration of your IPv6 DHCP Client?
Not just show that one line status.

I've posted a few page back and some members trying to help out earlier, and seems not working for me. I resulted in factory reset and setup, it works momentarily before it gone again.

Hi, I check back your post, so I assumed you also checked IPv6 > ND > Prefixes as described by soonwai on Sep 2023.

Now I just want to confirm what you said previously:
You check your Network Adapter properties and IPv6 address is gone?

Yup, correct. So basically I'm getting IPv6 on the Mikrotik interface but not on any of the client device I have. Android, Windows, iOS all facing the same issue.

How many devices you have on your network that exhibit this characteristic? Do they also have missing IPv6 address?
Are they all running Windows?

For TM BNG problem, the characteristic is different from what you are seeing. You will get IPv6 address, it will work for a while, it will then stop working. But you will still see IPv6 address attached to your network adapter.

If the IPv6 address is still attached to your network adapter, can you compare them to the prefix bounded in your RouterOS?

Do you use any security product other than the built-in Windows Defender?
I have come across Mcafee Endpoint Security blocking Router Advertisement randomly and it exhibit the exact same characteristic faced by you.

I am assuming this means if have this, it only affect particular client not all devices on network unable to get IPv6 correct?
