QUOTE(ahlong @ May 7 2022, 09:07 PM) Previous working setup is no MTU setup. Already set to 1480 and 1280 and not working also. Asking TM (socmed/livechat) still no answer given. Set the MTU to 1480 on ND and on the DHCP client, add default route option to NO. ahlong liked this post

QUOTE(Anime4000 @ May 16 2022, 03:21 PM) To Malaysia ISP: You have failed to give us at least /60 subnet, we going to use IANA reserve IPv6 address, because of this mess, ISP at fault... |

QUOTE(Anime4000 @ May 17 2022, 02:59 PM) haha, just blame ISP for this, even Hurricane Electric can give /48 I second to that.Do you think Malaysian ISP give biz package to home user like us?Never try to ask them tho.. /56 is good enough than what HE provided. Thanks again for sharing your workaround. |

QUOTE(BlueWind @ Jul 7 2022, 07:50 PM) To give you some perspective,i did some test with my sister's house with this parameters.(Only my laptop hooked up directly to router LAN,both Wifi was turned off, same laptop) Disclaimer,Im not an expert, and i have no networking background or working in networking field and english is not my main language, and take my explaination with a grain of salt. RRUL(realtime response under load) Flent. Without Cake(default Unifi Router, default setting) ![]() With CAKE(Hap ac2,diffserv 3,wash is ON) ![]() The ping shoot up to nearly 400ms for the first 15s,and hoovering to 200-250ms with default router.Tik with CAKE,it was at 45ms some sort of under control. This is my flent result at our home without any AQM. ![]() I have no need of AQM on our home. Enjoy your reading. |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jul 8 2022, 10:12 PM) Interesting results. What speed is your sister's Unifi? Both were 300Mbps.We are living approx at 600KM apart, not on the same division.I had the test during my visit to her house during Gawai. Are there other netperf servers that we can use? Highest total download I can get from singapore.starlink.taht.net is around 600Mbps. Just to give example, some do need it and some dont.Maybe something to do at her end(congestion, oversale or other possibility) There are some more servers, but those were located very far from us.Singapore was the closes server that I know.Just replace the singapore to other place that you could think of. |

QUOTE(ahlong @ Jul 19 2022, 09:58 AM) After reading testing and teracun with those graph, here's my graph. hapac2 + fq_codel (with fasttrack enable)+ unifi 800 (test inside pi4) It seem you capped the download/upload to 50/10 Mbps.On my previous test on cake with (95 % bandwidth) fasttrack disable, dual stack, diffserv 4,wash "on",max out at only ~230Mbps ish on 300Mbps with Hap ac2.It can do on fq codel.![]() Im wondering, how much could hap ac2 could take on fq codel?400Mpbs?or 500Mbps maybe? Im learning this aqm because im planning to install 4g internet to my parent in law since there was no fiber on the area and hopefully can control latency since we often video calling. Also,i did my first wireguard vpn server with hap ac2 with my android mobile as client |

I think it will be steep increase in price, from usd79 for hap ac2.to maybe slighly above hap ac3 price. It is frustrating to compare current ax1800 wifi price 2x lower than that.Even linksys e8450 priced lower than hap ac3 with ax3200.Guest i need to sell more fish to obtain this hap ax2
