Correction:
ST model has 2,500Hz FFD (Focused Field Drive) and not 2,000Hz.

Price wise not sure.

Spec wise the P50ST50 boasts ‘2500Hz’ sub-field driving (a big rise from last year’s 600Hz figure), 2D/3D feature and review picture performance quite near to last year VT30 model.

Why not you go audition test the feature and setting between this two model trust your own eyes and share with us here.

Thanks. So G is higher spec than S. But Anti-reflection coating are the same. Is there a lot of price differences between the 2? I am thinking of at least a 55" or bigger. I don't mind 2011 model

Both the GT50 and ST50 are new 2012 models.... price diff is quite a lot, not very the worth comparing the PQof both models, even if its RM1000, for me la...

ST is budget, GT is mid ranged, VT is top range... in price and in features n settings....

If don't mind last year model there is high end VT30 if you able to get price best bang for the buck.

GT and VT series will excel in bright living room when THX mode come into play.

ST series in bright living room just nice only but in dim room performance pretty good comparable to last year VT30.

Thanks.

On 2011 model.

I need something at least 55". Only VT30 that fits that description would be the 65" and I am afraid it may be out of my budget (<5K). So how much is the 65" VT65?

Alternatively, I might go for the 55" ST30 instead. How's the anti-reflective coating of the ST30?

There don't seem to be any GT30.
