Hi! Lorelaix, do you know when have electrical fair???? QUOTE(lorelaix @ May 25 2012, 01:19 AM) Hi ETHAN! I prefer the model: P50X50K since it looks slim from behind as well as the frame itself. Best Denki at KLCC is offering at RM 2,499 with freem HDMI cabel. promo till 31st May. Did you find this cheaper elsewhere? I'm not sure whether to buy Now Or wait for the price drop (Would it be possible for TV price to drop in 2-3 months time?) or wait for the electronic fair coming in june/july. found this from website: http://www.panasonic.com.my/wps/portal/hom.../VIERATHP50X50Kit says Wifi Ready, what does this mean? is it can directly connect to youtube or website and play as long have unifi on? or just wifi ready for doggle installation? mmmm....

No major difference. Both are digital. Your TV will most probably only take in HDMI. You'll still have convert from display port to HDMI using an adapter.

Would like to ask..for X models with 600hz motion rate compare to ST model with 2500hz motion rate. Do this really makes a big differences ? Other than that, i guess ST model is way better. I just want to know what a motion rate can makes a difference here. In terms of price, really a big differences..50inch X model is around 2499..while 42inch ST model is around 3799. Need advise Thanks

Refresh rates are only meaningful for LCDs and not plasmas.

QUOTE(cavynz @ Jun 8 2012, 11:34 AM) WHy refresh rate will not impacted in plasma ? Plasma technology is more similar to CRT i.e. shorter hold time. Hold time is how much time a pixel emits light during one frame period. LCD underlying technology has much longer hold times and that is what creates ghosting/motion blur. One way to compensate for this motion blur: LCD doubles/quadruples the refresh rates and also using interpolation frames. Some people like it and some complain the motion looks artificial (soap opera effect). This topic is still hotly debated because different people have different perception. You have to experience it for yourself and see what is your preference.

Guys, my current plasma was stolen 2 days ago (p42s10k) and I'm planning on buying a replacement, a budget replacement since I'm short of cash for time being.
Can any gentleman here suggest me a Full HD Plasma TV within Rm2k, the cheaper the better.

You dont need FHD at 42", IMO its pointless you wont experince better defination vs HD Ready when viewing at proper distance. Unless you go for 50" or bigger. Just grab those 768p at around 1.5k.

Just grab those 768p at around 1.5k. Sorry, but I beg to differ. I have the 42x20k, 42s30k and samsung ps51e550. The FHD TVS looks sharper to me, especially when watching blu-ray. But not to say the HD is bad, just FHD is better. Just go for the best one you can afford and enjoy.
