by wifi stream, are you using dlna?
i think RMVB not supported

yes, dlna. I am able to play rmvb videos by transcoding the files using ps3 media server. However, it was too laggy. Still trying to figure out the way.

instead of "channel logo" i worry more on black bar that causing unbalanced wear.

here is summary of what u recommended to do:
1. make sure you choose the aspect ratio that fully fill the screen (use Just or Zoom)

2. set contrast about 50% or lower
i tested contrast 70% when adjusting tv setting for 20minit ++ , the OSD leave minor retention mark shakehead.gif
luckily it dissapear away later on

3. dont watch a same channel or static picture for long period during first 100 hour.
this prevent channel logo or windows start menu retention mark.

i believe after the first month of daily run will get less chance of problem
so enjoy ur big screen biggrin.gif

There are different views regarding this matter especially for the new generation Plasmas. Go this site => http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/hdt...ma-display.html for write up on this matter. I have tried using Evangelo's break-in slides which can be downloaded from => http://www.hometheatershack.com/break_in_images.zip
Personally I ran it for 2 nights (not consecutively) just for fun.
How ? I really dont know as I dont watch a fixed channel for long periods. Also the previous post of not adjusting Contrast above 50 for the first few weeks makes sense.

Apart from putting unnecessary stress on the plasma panel initially, the break in period is also to ensure stability of the plasma cells in a short amount of time. That's why it is important to work out all the individual pixels across the panel equally as much as possible.

Once broken in, it is time to calibrate to get the optimum PQ. With the pixels stabilised, your calibration results will last a longer time.

If you do the calibration before stabilising, your calibration may be out and you have to re-do the calibration again at a later point.

That's what I have learn from the sifus here.

80% mean 80 on the screen, right?

Since I am a noob, so far haven't touch anything yet. The contrast number is set at 50, even i change to any other mode normal, cinema or THX except dynamic. But will not use dynamic, the screen is to bright and colour too strong, dont know why got such mode dynamic? Dynamic mode is use for what purpose, any sifus???

u got it rite.

well, dynamic is used in very bright room that boost dynamic contrast & brightness.
black become very black, white become very white. colour can pop out of screen. haha

normal means simple setting.
cinema got more function
THX is tune by professional for cinema feel

if u happen to download "hd_other_pioneer_the_kuro_experience.m2ts" this demo video, google it.
i was stunned at 1 part where the fish swim out of screen.
just close all window and lights... no need 3d glass at all laugh.gif
