I was told that the ST60 series will be available in late April/May timeframe for the smaller sizes and June for the larger size. Expect retails prices to start slightly lower than somewhere where the ST50 series started then to slowly drop to the current prices for the ST50 series. The calibration controls are supposed to hv 10point Greyscale/Gamma in TrueCinema and a 3D CMS for the primary colours I believe.

Also, at the moment the ST and the VT range is the only planned range for Asia region. There is no ZT range for Asia at the moment, this might change at the end of the cycle. ZT is in limited numbers and the allocation is targeted at the US/EU/UK region for now.

I will confirm when I hv more concrete info.

I've been very tempted to get ST50 after reading all the good review. Now waiting to see how much ST60 50-in is selling but it seems need to wait for quite some time. Any idea if the price of 50ST60 will be < RM3500? If too much difference from ST50, perhaps it is not so worth it?

From the info I gathered, ST60 is using same panel as ST50. The only thing diff is the touch pen and version 2 software?

What is "train speaker"?

Does it mean that the features are even lesser than ST50???? shocking.gif

the 50 family (st, gt, vt) use 8x little piece of speaker, which sounds ok to me, under "user" mode and distance setting "over 30cm".
default is "music" mode which thin out vocal, distance setting affects the bass woofer behind this tv

60 family use single piece conventional setup, but VT60 is slightly different? in specs write "side SPK"

Price update. Last week bought the Plasma P50ST50 from Seng Heng at RM3099 with 2 x 3d specs. Actually the 2x 3D specs is already packaged in the box and I dont understand why some of the earlier posts mentioned must pay extra.
My impression (first time Plasma user as previous TV was LCD) - At this price for 50in, no need to survey for other Brands/Model.
I don't work for Panasonic just my frank opinion.
