my probs solved , its fifa 12 that caused my ps3 hang .. so i should avoid playing fifa 12 then ..

Check the discs that are giving you problems, there might be cracks in the middle of the disc.
Even a fine small crack will cause problems.

i try create new psn account (uk) but it failed. anyone try create new psn account lately?

when i create new account it directs me to sonyentertainmentnetwork. after key in details, when i click create account (to access psn) it said fail pls try again later. try so many times still fail.

i remember my previous psn created did not have to go through sonyentertainmentnetwork.

all the data (save files, data caches, accounts...etc) will be deleted. Pretty much out from the box clean. I believe however the firmware still stays. Are u having any problems that you want to reformat ur ps3?

oh.. no la bro hehe .. helping my cousin to ask coz he bought the ps3 from his friends so previously his friends played those game and those files that cant remove away and got 1 demo game inside but he dowan to remove the demo game .. so he ask me can format onot but the demo game must remain so i not that sure can onot ...

u can format, but you will need to backup all ur save files and sync ur trophies in PSN. XD
as for the demo game, once u format it.....it will be gone. ur back up not included ur demo game so you might need to DL it again .

icic.. but can those files backup on the external hard drive .. coz my cousin don't hv psn acc yet and the demo game no other way around to save the file b4 format it.. can the demo game files save in to hdd ?

u cant save the game files individually but u can however use the back up utility which pretty much back up everything including the games u have downloaded, save files, accounts. Remember to use an external media that is of FAT32. Since its a demo so im sure its ok to redownload from the psn store.

did you guys experience FREEZE while in Playstation Store ? Especially US region .. is it becoz of PSN ?

sometimes DNS prob as psn tend to dc/freeze while browsing psn store

recently even sign-in to PSN also take sometime , not as fast as before .. i also suspected connection problem .. later i tried , no problem at all .. so might be UNIFI connection problem .. fuuhh i tot it was my PS3 problem

Should be not possible since notebook's HDMI port is an output,not input.

I can't even login to PSN now. Very annoying although website and downloads etc is no problem.

I would like to know is it alright to use SSD hard disc for the ps3
