Hmm...if the car just started, it couldn't be CVT overheat problem...unless those Proton jokers didn't fill enough oil in your gear from the factory.......maybe it's some other problem....i read a few CVT problems in cars like Sylphy and Lancer, it's usually after they run the car sometime then only experience the power loss and CVT lights blinking. If you're not driving hard or on extended period, i don't see why the gearbox can overheat so easily...

And so me decided to go ahead with my original plan of replacing my FL's Boot Lamp with an LED Stripe Type Boot lights....

For the FLX, when you lift off your foot from throttle pedal, the gearbox will automatically do engine braking one. Unlike auto where the speed remains constant, CVT will gradually lower the speed. Therefore I rarely brakes. Most of the time, I off throttle when slowing down. I only brake when reaching standstill or when I sense obstacle/situation ahead.

Go to service center, got quoted RM450 to replace the whole damn thing.
Now I finding left side side mirror then DIY sendiri replace the plastic piece which broken. Lucky the lamp inside still working

n tat door rubber can only reduce some of the noise from outside nia..
jz like wat bro zeone said, can hear HU sound clearer like tat onli,
n the door shut sound will be cantik abit lo, hahahaa

n if you wana reduce the engine noise, u hv to do firewall soundproofing using bitumen material,
wind noise wise try do sound proofing on door n A-pillar,
and take off the door visor, it might creates noise actually,
for tyres noise this one susah abit liao,
need to do floor soundproof + fender sound proof + wheel arch sound proof
plus fill with full superlon material inside the fender gap between car body
and plus choose a quieter tyre model
motorcycle exhaust sound i think u nid to choose a better tinted film for better sound insulation dy LOLZ

all these i did to my previous car kenari which is a well known noisy car too,
effect i can say improved at least 50% for me. hahaha

if proton sell sure expensive
go to proton stockist...it's cheaper and find another to help u install
but for me...i wouldn't change it cuz it only crack and the signal still work...if u change it...who knows gonna get hit again
if me..i would wait until the signal doesn't work already thn only i consider want to change or not

An Update re question abt OEM ABL asked earlier in thread re :

Answer :

Yup, it does!

Juz tested it earlier while doing my DIY LED boot lights. UNintentionally tho. Accidentally pressed the Panic Button on my remote.
Alarm sounded.
Put key into ignition. On ignition. Pressed Reset Button.
Alarm deactivated!

Pic #2 shows the LEDs lighted up with boot open; Pic #3 shows lamp holder with connector and Pic #4 shows complete set ie connection plus LEDs lighted up. Not so bright cos did in afternoon ie bright sunlight!

And yup, that red button switch comes with "universal" ABL module. I also bought one but din use it after found OEM easy to DIY & uses the ori Reset Button.

yup, baru check neighbour's Person elegance. Side mirrors are the same model, especially that cracked plastic housing.

Gonna buy one cheap cheap manual adjustable one then DIY replace that cracked plastic housing.

Officially it's either Xk Km / X mths whichever comes first or is earlier. This is in T&C of car warranty.

Most users wld go by Xk Km as long as the mths do NOT vary by too much. So can b earlier abit or later abit.

NB. Alwaz RTFM on car delivery...

UPdate : DIY punya LED Boot Lights emit very bright & warm glow! Tested 2C juz now when dark oledi.
