Could overheating be the problem? Even the Inspira/Lancer tends to overheat easily after a sprint driving.

After last nite's discussion, somehow cld not help feeling that all, who can contribute info & guide to help our fellow Saga users, would b saving them a lot of $$$, headaches & heartaches...mayb even LIVES...

How?

By providing CONCRETE steps towards improving further the safety & stability of Sagas ie affordable ones for the regular user plus sp mods for the enthusiast.

ALL these steps shld be compiled & PINNED AND REPEATED in every new thread (Version) in this forum for easy reference.

Re VW incident related in post earlier, changes made improved tremendously a highly-oversteering car to become a SAFE car for average fmly! Those needed changes were published repeatedly in a VW "Safer Motoring" mag.

so far the cheapest i can find thru internet is RM78... anyone could find cheaper price for that arm rest? or any car's accessories shop selling cheaper?

oh ya, V12Kompressor, i have this problem too previously. after finish washing my car, i started the engine and the CVT light is stay on...
however, i didn't turn off the engine, but proceed with accelerate. when i get out from the car wash shop (about 5 secs), the CVT light is gone.
this case happen when my ODO reading around 800KM (still haven't send for 1st service yet)...
when i send for my 1st service at ODO 1700KM, i forgot to inform them the CVT light problem, but now my ODO reading already 32xx, the CVT light never give me problem dy...

i can say that, the CVT light up because of the GB temperature problem, and it will limit the speed of your drive to protect it.

btw, the CVT came with protection system, for example, when you stopped your car, put your gear position to either P or N. try to rev as high as you can, but it won't go further than 2,500RPM...

i got armrest for my saga flx for RM50 from acc shop in front hosp kajang
if im not mistaken, the name is sato car acc

it might work for carb but not sure for EFI since ECU can recalc o2

Wat materials is it made of?
The one ad in Mudah (RM78) is made of moulded ABS plastic with cowhide covering for armrest.

i myself from Kajang...
i know that shop cause used to pass by that road, anyhow thanks for the info bro...
