Bro,

I just checked the TD Ameritrade website. Only Singapore PR or with working pass allowed to open an account.

-May non-Singapore citizens trade with thinkorswim Singapore?
Yes, non-Singapore citizens may register with thinkorswim Singapore, provided you are a Permanent Resident or have a valid Employment Pass or Work Pass. You will be required to provide us with a valid Tax ID number in Singapore to open the account. You will also be required to verify your Singapore address by providing us with a copy of a utility bill and/or bank statement listing your address.

Yes.. non-issue for me. I had TD Ameritrade (USA account) more than 10 years (even before they expanded to Singapore and elsewhere).

Can you meet their requirement? If not, there are many other brokers also allow Malaysian only citizens to trade.

As long it holds within this range: above 1680, below 1725 by Friday.
I'll be ok. laugh.gif

You may also want to check out MBTrading.. their rates are very competitive but platform aren't as good as TDA.
http://www.mbtrading.com/stocksAccountRequirements.aspx (Malaysia citizen ok)

Check out their demo tools and see if you like it first.

Yeah.. IBM has been really really weak lately. I will not short or long from here.
I may attempt to short if it can do a dead cat bounce to fill that gap to 180 first.
For now, better stay at sidelines and watch or set trigger alert.

Take a look at FB, - back above 50 again.. laugh.gif

fb is really unbelievably strong recently. the charm of bubble is like this: cannot see limit since the valuation does not depends on current earnings but "very much future" earnings, so it's too hard to judge where the limit could be. biggrin.gif

ya, guess better stay sideline on ibm for now. nod.gif

my apple is for long term, sell button invisible unless price reaches 800. cool2.gif
dr. doom today talked about Apple going to bankrupt. thumbup.gif

AAPL needs a strong push above 515, then it will be free to move up even higher from here.
Let see if the Q4 earnings (Oct 28th) will help them or not. nod.gif

Impressive indeed. Darn.. just a year ago, I was holding 1K worth of LVS shares. doh.gif

Looks like market going to stay here tonight. Not making much move but I'll
get my calls taken away if SPY stays above 173.
