ETRADE is my 1st USA broker account as I got share options/Restricted Share Units and I'm able to
purchase my MNC company share at 15% discount given to employee, which deducted thru monthly salary up to 10% of basic salary
accum and company purchase share for employee every 6 months.

For Q2 as investor
In my previous experience, i buy and sell share using ETRADE broker.. Seldom withdrawal as the fees are expensive and
need to know the conversion rate. Keep yr $ in the trust account.Any future share purchase transaction,
will be deducted from yr trust account / available balance..If you continue TT in and out into yr trust account,
conversion rate fluctuate and bank fees  rclxub.gif TRADE KING charge usd 4.95 per transaction.

For Q1 + Q3, let the trader share their experience.

Not Intel.. Share Options/RSU is limited there and ONLY applicable for senior mgr and above level. cool.gif

Present Headquarter MNC company is in Dallas, Texas.. In Msia, got 2x manufacturing plants
at Ampang and Melaka. In Melaka plant, it was another previous MNC company HQ in Santa Clara, California
for more than 50 yrs before the present 3rd world biggest semiconductor bought it by paying 76% EXTRA premium
of the share price during the take-over.. Small listed MNC companies gave many many share options/RSU/Success/Profit Sharing
compared to big big listed company.. Out of topic here. Not related per thread topic..

Tonight puke fest for them when all the retail investors jumped in after the good earnings, then the institutional dump
into the rally causing huge volume to the downside. Even the CEO says.. NFLX is riding on over-enthusiastic momentum.

ok. Apple's new products, suits market expectations. Nothing break through, and nothing disappointing except for the high price tag. However, some people may prefer the high price tag or they won't be interested in buying Apple products anymore. Stock flat, fair enough. Time to accumulate more shares on dips (still waiting for my 450. tongue.gif )

Wow, there is actually another company that provide stocks benefits exactly like Intel. BTW, Intel give stock options/RSU to all employees since 1997.

MNC company - same
ETRADE - same but now using UBS
15% discount on share purchase - same
deducted thru monthly salary - same
up to 10% of salary - same
purchase every 6 months - same

Let me guess .. Texas Instruments rclxm9.gif

FYI. Out of topic here.. But, last word on this matter below.
Many MNC in Msia.. Last time ETRADE and Charles Schwab brokers,
now using UBS brokerage.
Not Intel, It is National Semiconductor Corp( NSC) last time and bought over by Texas Instruments Corp (TXN)
last 2 years ago. Additional = Bought share for employee every 6 months, for the share price is lowest
in 1 year timeframe at 15% discount during NSC time. thumbup.gif

Many MNC companies practiced similar, as long as it got listed in NYSE/Nasdaq/AMEX ..
For Siemens/Infineon ..etc listed in Frankfurt/DAX/FTSE ..etc , also quite attractive benefits..

Hey yok,

Overnight, I was watching their launch.. of their supposingly new iPads. No wonder investors are disappointed. There was no wow factor at all.
So, it's thinner and has a faster processor. That's it. I guess another way for them squeeze more money from apple collectors.
Anyway, I'm not one of them but I love to trade their stock and I think we got a opportunity here soon.

The stock sold off into 508 and bounced back up to 520 and ease into close.
So, basically I think it may not be able break higher into earnings (in about a week time).
And if it does, it may get sold off again into the news.

I think we'll see AAPL may trickle down below $500 shortly and if earnings are bad enough, then we'll see a drop to $450-$465 area,
that would be a good buying opportunity again. laugh.gif

Agreed. And hopefully can get my 450. brows.gif

As for the new sales, I think buying should comes in although there isn't any surprise at all, just meet-market-expectation only.
Reasons:
1. In gadget world, faster = buy new! We have been saying this trend in PC world for 2 decades if not more. Since softwares (now we should called them apps tongue.gif ) always get more and more complicated (and fancy), so chip's performance becomes essential, especially now we are talking about 4K, no longer 2K resolution. The high-res display power itself already required much powerful chips. The secondary concern is power source aka battery life. New products, more battery life. This is also an essential reason for upgrade.
2. Emerging middle class/population in developing countries. I'm seeing nowadays, middle class can afford Apple products. Not like 10 years ago, only rich people or hardcore nerd buy Apple products (in developing countries). So the market is expanding fast. Samsung, Google, LG....and of course, Apple, all will benefit from it. They are not upgrading, these people are buying their 1st ipad because their income has increased!
3. iphone 5C is not cheap, that's a good strategic move, I think. So Apple maintain its reputation as a high-end icon in a high-ego world today, especially for China people, one of the largest middle class engine.

Just some thoughts. cool.gif

Not too bad.. recovered from yesterday losses but still not as good as Monday evening.

As long as SP500 above 1725, this market is very bullish.

Continue to buy the dips. laugh.gif
