A desktop only has a jack for one monitor. What device we need to use to allow a desktop to control multiple monitor? A switcher? What brand do u recommend?

Which software is recommended to enable multiple monitor control?

Thank you smile.gif.

Hey countdown,

I'm not IT expert but looking at my PC, it got one physical 'port' on the display adapter card (DVI type). But, it has a Y-dongle. One DVI (many little pins, looks like a D shape) interface to TWO VGA (15 pins) dongle. This is how I hook up to two monitors.

No extra software needed. The OS (Windows) will recognize it from the display drivers that came with the PC.
All I need to do is to make sure to tell it which one is monitor 1 and 2.

It's good to multiple monitors for looking at various stocks! thumbup.gif

Thanks man, it really helps. After checking my desktop, the mobo has 2 ports, 1 VGA and 1 DVI. I'll tinker around with the built in software for the dual monitor controls nod.gif .

yeah, one screen is insufficient, toggling in between screens inconveniently laugh.gif .

Great idea, squeeze everything into one. At least can view 6 combined stocks/indicators/index at one go. biggrin.gif

At one time, I had a quad monitors (17") system. Pretty messy with all the cables.
Then, I changed it to a single 32" monitor (actually it's a TV). But, due to its proximity, find it more difficult to use.
Everything looks enlarged and too upclose...stocks window still doesn't stack well.

Finally, changed to dual monitors system (22" wide) actually works much better for me. wink.gif

Oh man.. FB is indeed very strong. This is a must buy if it dips.

That gap area would be nice spot.. but I'm probably going to wait a longer here.

Hello there,

Anyone here diversifying their portfolio on ETFs' listed in NYSEArca?

I've spotted a few ETF I would love to purchase, wondering if it is possible for Malaysians to trade in NYSEArca.

Few local punters are aware of U.S. stock bull run, guess when these punters come in, is the time to cash out.
