frankly speaking, i'm very confuse as well. mine is wifi version,
got so many link, duno which is working. and for my wifi version,
the early 3.2 upgrade caused wifi to stop working, so scary.

the version listen always have some number at the back, what does it mean? region specific? how to know which is safe...

finally decided to flash overcome rom now, downloading. about 1 hour remaining.

nw reading the instructions on xda very carefully.
i saw this.

"If you have some form of CWM on your device already, simply download the ROM, and install zip through CWM."

how do i know my tab has CWM on it?

Your tab by default will not have cwm installed. You need to install cwm separately before you can flash the rom zip file
Boot to recovery mode if you see list of menu with select zip file, backup and restore, clear cache partition etc and title is cwm recovery 5.0.... That means you have cwm.

I think mine has it.

-wipe data/factory reset

Yup, u r good to go. Just install .zip file from storage after you copy the file to your directory. After u install, your cwm will be updated. Enjoy..

i have some questions to ask you.
in the xda post, there is a file called "removed apps download"

if my understanding is correct, inside this has all the apk that is not in the rom.
the user will choose whether to install or not right?

the touch wids launcher, the samsung notification bar with easy toggle, and samsung widgets are not in the rom by default? how about samsung widgets? is the "program monitor" widget TW exclusive?

In his v2.2, all the apps are included except for ebook n launcher.

U will lose some widget but generally everything will be same.. The samsung easy access bar n mini app all there..

As for white button, u will know after u install w

the only widget i use is the "program monitor", i love it very much, it tells me how many apps is running.
so i will always remember to close all my apps, and wont leave anything running in the background.

is there a way to get it back back? an apk for it or something?

the rom finished downloading, but now waiting for titanium backup, never though it will be so slow, about 70% complete only.

It's there, don't worry.

The only thing I found missing is the resizable gallery widget, the browser shortcut widget and missing Chinese locales.

However, default honeycomb widget for those above are in tact. as for Chinese locales, u can use google pinyin

Oh ya, the guide never mention about USB debugging, should i leave it on or off?

now copying the backup from titanium, once done can begin flashing.

Don't worry about mini app, he modified it ady. Not that easy to summon it up. Instead of swiping up, u need to tap it then only it will open. No worries when you're playing your fruit ninja

However, if you wish to attempt a non-wipe device, follow these instructions: Install zip without data wipe, after reboot you will have tons of FC. Go into manage apps and clear data on Calendar, Calendar Storage, Contacts, Contacts Storage, and Clear Launcher (unfortunately you have to do it if launcher crash). Reboot again into recovery and wipe cache. Reboot and you should be up and running free of FC (thanks to fixfox2 and spiderwolf for the method!)

wipe method safer right? but how to wipe?

Well, u need to understand the reason for wiping.

Hc 3.1 n 3.2 is different, different roms also have different settings n files etc. wiping cache, data etc will ensure no conflict in data for both version. If no wipe is conducted, then when incompatibility happens, it will fc.

Anyway, I will recommend wipe, full wipe. U can do so in the recovery mode, follow the menu.

After u copy the zip file. U can unplug the tab and install yr new rom from the comfort on yr bed or sofa.. no need connect usb anymore..

i'm all hyped up and ready to go. cant wait to get it started.

but now waiting for file transfer, sending my songs, videos, and titanium backup stuff etc.
i just select everything in my tab and transfer to a folder in my computer. it says about 50minutes remaining.

Actually no need to do so, cwm won't wipe those. I ask u to transfer is just in case only, later it wipe then your data no more you come blame me. Lol

Anyway that ahchong I think is spammer, he had been asking the same question many times and every where..
