Thanks guys for all the advice and support. :-D
i know how to root, its easy on sgs2 and even easier on the galaxy tab. i never flash any rom before, i plan to do more reading on it before i do so, worried i might bright the tab.
kinnda occupied with work now, i'll have to wait for the weekends. thanks for
@abundai thank you for your app recomendation, ^^ i will try the ADW and go keyboard tonight. (tab is not with me now) really hope the go keyboard suits me, i very bored keep looking for alternatives.
go launcher is working well, it looks very natural and nice on tab, not like launcher pro :-( launcher pro really fail. go launcher is very nice indeed but too bad got the random turn blank bug when press home button. *annoying
can you be more specific about the ADW? is it ADW EX or just the ADW, i think they are different right, one of them is not free i think?

Adw launcher.. paid ones.. but worth to invest.. u'll get better support and easy to upgrade later... support market developer skit la. So they will do better apps for us :-)
Flashing wont normally brick or harm your tablet.. just use clockworkmod.. if anything happens, just go back to cwm mode, then restore from your back..
Flashing to xda custom 3.2 is highly recommended.. u can then tease your gf back on her poor ipad... who knows, she might turn droid after that...unless she' s a hardcore apple fan who is normally blinded by all the hype and marketing done by apple la.. then that one, cannot say much la...
Dont get me wrong.. i dont hate apple product.. it just doesnt suit me...

i bought adw ex when it was 10cent promo that time.. but never use.. uninstalled and only use in phone..
installing rom wont brick tab, usually only bootloop if anything goes wrong.. flashing via odin only will cause brick if disconnected while flashing or wrong flashing methods/files used..

If I m not mistaken, it won't affect the Download Mode even if brick, right?

Also what's a good price for non-Samsung connector (only see 1 thread selling currently in trade zone). Noone can help me?

Thanks farscope and mtxx. I already have Kies Air which similar to AirDroid but this is my wife's tab and USB drive easier for her to understand =p. Also I have heard that certain large capacity thumbdrive cannot work (like the 48GB from Pendrive), is that true, anyone try before?

If i'm not wrong, it supports up to 32GB only.. but i think someone tried with higher capacity before, try asking benny.. as for transferring files, another thing u can consider is dropbox or box.. it's a web storage system but can act like normal folder in your computer. Provided u are transferring small files and having reasonably fast internet speed.. u can ask yr wife to drop the files she wan in the folder in your computer, then download it from her tab from anywhere as long as there's internet connection.. it's more direct to use (drag and drop) than those wifi direct or FTP connections etc etc..
