Wanna check with you guys/gals here, does the Dolphin browser (if there's 1 for Honeycomb) supports the Webzine interface like on iPad's?

What is Webzine? If you have iPad + Dolphin browser, goto venturebeat.com, then click at the Webzine bar at bottom to see. Very interesting interface done up on HTML. smile.gif

Hi, which variant of Dolphin did you use? HD or mini?

I have tried both on Tab 10.1, it doesn't have the option to goes into Webzine interface.

I never realize this question till my galfriend asked. Can the Tab zoom in to take photo? I tried playing around with the camera setting but didn't seems to be able to zoom in.
Any thing in the market can be used?
*
Try the volume rocker button when you are in the camera.

come on, not this again lol..i didnt even asking any comparison at all just wondering how or what things can make it smoother..just this

You can look forward to the Honeycomb 3.2 update from Samsung soon. As I have seen it on Iconia and Eee Pad, which were very smooth at the interface (GPU support?).

But I can't guarantee it will be smooth on Tab10.1 though, just hopeful. smile.gif

For a tablet, this model is so far the best I've seen n many of my frens agreed. I would say there is no point  if u r comparing to the fruit product. I would suggest u decide on which type of device n function you would like to have. No offend ya, but I'm an android user all this while  n tab had been my first tablet n I'm happy with it.
lol, did you even tried other Android tablet?

Hi guys!

New Tab10.1 owner here. biggrin.gif

Dare by a friend, he said he'd buy if I buy. And so we bought each of us 1 unit. Though I would still rather have the 64GB version. sad.gif

Tab 10.1 doesn't have call function...it will be a plus if later with software upgrade may have call function but it won't be practical to whip out your 10.1 just to make calls...may be for a few weeks you will do just that for show off then you will get bored and start using your handphone which will be more practical to make and answer calls.

I have use LINE's calling capability on my iPad2, and let me tell you this... it's damn bloody silly holding it up against your ear.

DON'T do that! doh.gif

yesterday went to try galaxy tab 10.1 but so laggy. why like that?
*
I suspect it's because Tab10.1 still running on Honeycomb 3.1.

The counterparts, Asus, Acer all running on 3.2 (Asus on 3.2.1), they are really smooth. Must be the GPU accelerated interface.

So, either you get a Tab and hope for the best from Sammy (or they might just give you ICS 4.0 when time due) or go with other alternative and stuck with the hardware (tangible stuff can't be changed, such as thickness and weight).

Correction a bit u can play hd videos but depends on the mbs. Up to 20 can anything more u need to convert there's a lot of prograns that can convert so can play on the tab. Don't expect to download raw 2gb movie and play without lag
*
"Up to 20 (mbs) ..." means?

Just tested an .mp4 (720p) format video, 98mB, downloaded from Youtube. Played smoothly and best of all, does not need conversion!

iTunes don't accepts Youtube's mp4 codec. thumbup.gif

SS2 Mall, inside TBM. Just nearby Times bookstore.

10% on the accessories. Imagine the RM219 Samsung ori case cover @ 10% discount. I should have bought mine there. cry.gif
