any1 knows how to totally unroot?
i tried the command using terminal, success...
but problem is, i cant remove/uninstall the superuser.apk from app drawer...
look for solution in xda, they suggest to flash stock firmware from samfirmware.com..
tried that too, but my tab became EU version..
then i tried to update in KIES, no problem, but KIES still recognise it as EU version.. and the kernel has the word "root" in it.. is that normal for a stock kernel?

any suggestion? i need to unroot to make a warranty claim.. my left speaker a bit faulty.... got cracking sound =(

Just sent in . The service center never bother whether you have root or not. Ask users who has sent in their rooted tabs at the Tab and SGS II official threads

seriously? if thats the case, then i'll send it for repair later..

also read it from Samfirmware.com, it says that the warranty only void if we bricked the device..
but if we flashed custom roms correctly, then shouldnt be a problem... sounds logic, but just needed some confirmation from LYN members...

Burned my 3rd sim card already. Will try 1 last time with another carrier's sim card before sending in for warranty.

what do you mean burned ? means galaxy tab destroy the sim card too ?

It causes the sim to not able to register to Celcom network.

Gonna swap sim card with my friend's U-mobile and see. See if it's Celcom's problem or really my Tab's problem.

In just 2 months, I have 2 spoiled sim.

The latest touchscreentune is awesome. The screen becomes super sensitive with the new touch sensitivity option. But too bad cos it's not free anymore...

mine also spoilt 2 time, now using 3rd sim card. 3rd sim card so far so good. turn off your tab when plug in or pull out sim card.

hi all..i juz bought my tab 10.1 yesterday n still lot to learn as i'm also new with android....i want to know more about my tab n how to customize it into my own liking....the guy at the store yesterday told me that he did sumthing like jailbreaking my tab but i can't see much difference only can see lots of games n apps already installed....already told that i want to learn myself but he insisted on doing it so i juz let it be...but today i don feel good about it as i know nothing bout my tab....thinking of restoring it into factory setting n learn to do it myself...

i've read some of the android 101 n if u guys can help to point me any websites that are good for beginners like me in understanding androids particularly tab 10.1..

for the time being..what the guy did with my tab also i dunno where to check...hopefully u guys can help newbie me..hehe

Mine is 7510.. The one i got from samfirmware was dxkg4 instead of dxki1...
After flash, kies cannot recognise my device to get dxki1 update wheni plug it to my pc.
I only flash 2 of the files from the p7510dxkg4.zip file(data n csc)... I didnt flash d bootloader as suggested by xda forumers..

You are on Celcom as well?

I did turn off whe removing/inserting simcsrd, but still spoil. Afterall, this only do once as I dont take out the sim card after putting in.

This morning, my Tab seems to fail to register the sim again. Have to reboot.

since my sis laptop died...my sis always wanted a tab..does samsung galaxy tab 10.1 able to run n edit microsoft office stuff? i read sumwhr it does...

Ya, it is awesome..i don't know if someone else has share this before, but i found some interesting app for taking note plus TouchScreenTune it make it more oomph.
It's call Supernote from Asus tablet. can refer my screenshot below. I think, this one more convenient to take note... I got from this XDA forum

my tab screen flickering again.. and sometimes goes blank..dunno what happened..send to samsung service...already a week there..still not solve..hurmmmm...
