Anyone can help me to try compass apps ?  it doesn't seem to work correctly which is 180 to the opposite .

Yup,its pointed to correct direction.ur tab got problem I guess.

I am a graphic designer and looking to get tablet and planning to get Galaxy 10.1. I also hope to use sketchbook pro / drawings apps on it. However, I came across a forum mentioning that some user experienced sluggish when drawing / writing. Does anyone here uses those apps and face problems?

Yeah, more stable so far except for calendar widget..

Overcome 2.1 got phone dialer.. But cant used. Device not support voice call.. Even USSD not working. Hoping for USSD to works since easier to manage broadband subscription.

It only work with busybox version 1.18.2 but I didnt manage to revert or downgrade the busybox..
Anyway, yeah its true because i read all post after that saying no huge different after applying supercharger so I'm happy with current custom rom and pershoot kernel...

I feel that it's more stable and when i wanna reboot there are various choices now instead of power off only on the last v2.0.. i can reboot into recovery and download mode now.. no need to hold lower volume button+power button longer anymore... 
New market interface.. smoother transition from home to other slides compare to before.. and browser get fixed already.. no more auto closed if failed to load packed flash in a browser... seriously, i feel more satisfied now...

I tested it already.. yes, now u can choose to zoom or stretch the apps.. and I think more apps are available now compare to 3.1 before because of this availability alone.. I tried several games such as clowning around and sally spa.. there I can see they had been stretched and to be honest, the graphics were really bad.. LOL

Yeah, that's absolutely true.. I'd been watching the battery stat every now and then.. I read that Tegra3 tablets will have solution regarding to this main consumer.. by controlling backlight of the screen? I can't remember how exactly it will be done... 

Someone already tested it I guess.. 720p vids are nice enough for me.. 1080p will just eat my free space more.. so, I'd just watched the walking dead season 2 episode 7 and Fast Five in 720p... converted them using freemake software (laptop).. there are only few parts where they suffers and suddenly the vid stucked... but only just 2-3 seconds like that and it doesn't matter for me at least...

Errr.. I don't think I have this kind if issue right now.. but the only one regarding to compass is if I install any 3rd party navi app and tried to launch it for the 1st time, it failed to locate my current location. But if i restart the gps and the app back, i can use it again with no problem. But I never test drive it because I'm riding motorbike so, it's kinda weird to hold such a huge device while riding...

One last step... init.d file missing..
My busybox is 1.18.4.. required is 1.18.2 or lower right.. And although using busybox switcher, I failed to downgrade my busybox..
With majority said that nothing much improved then I think I don't have to worry bout it now..

This time, I installed ROM only.. no more additional patches.. and no issue so far especially with calendar on v2.1.0..
I heard Bindroid ROM is smoother than Overcome... but, it using hotfile.. so, the download speed is horrible..

Anyway, so fast to use custom ROM already meh?

Yeah, I think right now in this thread, I'm the only one using BinDroid.. It's not a huge jump of performance from Overcome but then at least I can use supercharger now.. 
TBH, I'm looking for vanilla ROM right now.. Kinda dissapointed with bugs on heavy 'tuned' rom.. No matter which ROM you will port on your Tab, at least there will be one time your tab will freeze and reboot itself.. Same apply to Overcome or Bindroid..
Please, someone.. Ditch all nonsense UI.. Gimme pure vanilla experience.. 

Does it for real don't have any issue with sudden freeze on official ROM? I really don't spend much time with official one.. The only reason was the speed itself.. So annoying especially when you wanna switch between apps or games and going from landscape to potrait.. Anyway, there is a way to use supercharge on overcome.. But, I don't think I will stay on any ROM for so long.. That's why I keep on looking for the best.. And yet, it still didnt coming..

Yeah, kill the NAND but increase the speed instantly! 
Compass issue: I have to admit that it's not accurate especially when using any compass apps.. But, with google maps or any navi apps just show me exactly (not 100% perfect anyway) where I am standing.. I think maybe apps compability.. 

This has nothing to do with compass sensor, it's the GPS receiver instead.

Compass would be used when you are in GMaps, tap on the icon "My Location" (rounded with 4 points on NESW), tap again it will rotates the map according to the direction you are facing.

thanks a lot for your corrections then.. It just that I don't really use any compass app.. But someone asked back then so other than browsing and gaming, make my tab as a route guidance is almost a no-no.. Sorry.. I think I have to move on.. I couldnt find any solution regarding to this issue ..

I can't answer this q properly.. Most Tegra games are nice.. But, there are many more out there too (in android market)..
Anyway, shadowgun, samurai vengeance, need for speed shift, cut the rope, nfl rivals also nice...
