I need to go back to Gmarket to calculate, but it should be around $22-24 each (usd) for a bulk of 10, the thing itself is $19.99 sans shipping.

Will wait for the good news after you review and is interested to bring it in smile.gif

QUOTE(cpc_cs @ Sep 4 2011, 02:17 PM)
Got my SGSII on one week ago. Newbie to smartphones and android.

I noticed in the Settings - About Phone - Kernel Version it says
2.6.35.7-I9100DXKH2-CL483911
root@DELL138 # 2

My question is what does "root@DELL138 # 2" represents?

Got the phone from Celcom Blue Cube, Pavilion

Can someone clarify. Thanks
*
represents your kernal, just because there's a ROOT it doesnt mean its rooted.

use some of those battery saving apps, juice defender/green power/2x battery etc etc.
use betterbatterystats see if any apps is causing wakelocks, just incase.

change your kernal
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1229633
based on this benchmark, you see see la which kernal better, this is ppl's benchmark but you can try and test.

The higher the current, the faster the charging rate, the higher the stress on the battery, the shorter the battery will last.

That's why I use a 15 hour charger for my AA batteries and not the 4 hour chargers

Damn, just a few days away from LYN and we're already 19 pages into V13. Way to go, SGS2 users!

Incidentally, I got paranoid about dropping my phone and I bought a Melkco Kubalt case, which is a copy of the CaseMate Tough. Although it makes my phone pretty bulky, I must say I'm very happy with the case. It's pretty rugged looking and considering that it has two layers of protection, I have a lot of confidence in it.

That said though, I wonder how long it'll take before I miss the feeling of slimness in my hands and go back to a naked SGS2.

Samsung Travel charger is capped at 700ma because the kernel limits input to about 600/700ma (with a wall charger, it ONLY FREAKING TAKES 250ma with USB). With the nymph kernel, the cap is raised to 800ma, and with a proper higher output charger, it should charge slightly faster.

And the battery is REMOVABLE people, plus I doubt a 100ma output hike is gonna stress the battery THAT much, I mean, you using your SGS2 for 5 years issit?

Oh, and the iPhone charges at 1000ma with a wall charger and 500ma with USB.

i was choosing between the kubalt and the casemate tough.
i chose the tough, cos the back of the kubalt looked too much like a tyre.
anyway, now i've ditched the tough and gone with the melkco jacka flip case.
