The higher the current, the faster the charging rate, the higher the stress on the battery, the shorter the battery will last.

That's why I use a 15 hour charger for my AA batteries and not the 4 hour chargers

I just got this phone recently, and my battery percentage drops 1% for every minute of use such as internet and gaming....is this normal?

Even race thunder lite drops it like crazy, 2 laps and 6% gone

I have this problem where any compass app I download from the Market runs fine, then still continues running even after I force the task to exit.

When I run the app next, it still has a lock, and my battery life is unbelievably bad, like 2 hour max when using, and 45 mins when gaming.

I don't have a SIM card in it and it is flight mode, and screen on min brightness, and all connectivity off...can anyone help me out with the compass app running non-stop even after stopping it?

The app is called 'compass' from touch.com. Just search for compass in the market, it is the first one with the blue open compass.

I ended the app thru the task manager....and when i checked on it under battery usage, the percentage was increasing...and then i clicked on it and clicked force close, then my battery life was margnally better,

The next day, I checked and found it was still running.

I have a feeling it could be my battery which is crappy, cos even surfing drains it very quickly. Can I send it to samsung to be replaced?

I do not really want to flash a ROM just yet. Is there any program widget that any of you can recommend to show the battery percentage insteado f having to go to settings>about>status

Has anyone noticed that when playing 1080p videos in the browser in fullscreen mode, the sound and video do not sync?

Try test this with a music video, so can see the lips move. Seems to be a glitch because the difference in the timing is consistent, it does not increase the longer the video runs.

Does anyone else have this problem and/or knows how to fix it up?

Well, I am running the default ROM. Yours could be perfect because yours is more optimized

Now that I look closely, seems OK, but definitely not as perfectly synced as on a computer...a flash update should fix that.

But it is very impressive considering it is a phone running at a max of under 4W

I do not see the difference between the SGP ultrasilke and the neo hybrid. The ultrasilke looks thinner and more uniform while the neo seems to have rubber?
